Iwassohot, andKai smelled so good, and everything had been beautiful. I was floating in a haze where Kai surrounded me with his buzzing aura, and all I needed to do was let go.

I could feel the bite pulsing between us, shining out from his finger, asking to be fulfilled.

I didn’t mean to cry after Zania left, but ever since I’d suddenly become an omega, I’d been so emotional. And Kai could feel it all, searching through me so intensely it was like I needed to be with him to keep myself sane.

I could still taste Sin on my lips and Caspian’s power hummed around us, but it wasn’t the same. It couldn’t be when there was no bite.

Even though I was sure I was going to suffocate with need if Kai didn’t kiss me again.

“Let’s have a little competition, shall we?” Kai’s voice curled around me as his cock ground harder against me.

“What kind of competition?” Caspian growled from his position beside us. I’d been trying not to look at him while I was with Kai, because it only seemed to make him angrier, but it was so hard to resist.

Even with his dinner jacket covering his white shirt, Caspian’s muscles still bulged through. I couldn’t stop thinking about how easy it had been in the heat suite for him to pick me up, make me come, and carry me to the bed like it was nothing.

“Oh no, not for you, Cas. This one is for omegas only.” Kai chuckled as he kept his eyes on me. He fished his fan out from his belt and twirled it around his fingers. My breath caught as he notched his fan under my chin and made me look up at him.

And the person who looked back was the Kai I met when I woke up in the heat suite, the Kai that ravaged me and left me wanting more. He was so rough and violent, and it was difficult not to beg him to fuck me just to experience it all again.

This was the Kai that would eat me alive if he wanted to, and I wouldn’t stop him if he tried.

“If you’re really going to fake being our omega for the crowd out there, I want to see how much you can take,” he purred, and my eyes glazed over, my body softening at his whispered promise. “Who do you think would perfume first if we really made a thing of this? Do you think you could outlast me, Brandy? What would I have to do to get you to crack?”

My breaths shook as Kai’s gaze danced over my face, all the way down to my heaving breasts, and he licked his lips. My back straightened against the tiled wall as the tension rose between us again.

The shame that had been eating away at me since the first sneer from Zania dissolved with his hot look, and I happily pushed away years of anguish in favour of feeling Kai against my body again.

“Enough,” Sin said, suddenly breaking through our heavy moment. His tone was so sharp that Kai and I both looked at him in surprise.

He still leaned against the door, but his look was dark and his folded arms clung to his waist. “We don’t have time for this. We need to return to the party.”

Kai clicked his tongue and pulled back from me, giving me a better view of Sin.

And the eager softness that Kai had conjured in me grew as Sin looked at me. I wanted to taste him again, to experience his tender touch that he showered me with every time we met, before he would ruin it with his cold words.

Even standing there, glaring at us, I still wanted him to stride over and tug Kai and me to his chest, rub his scent all over us both so that we were blended properly. And only when Caspian joined us could I settle.

“Well, I didn’t mean we’d have the competitionnow.”Kai pouted at Sin. “I just mean in general.” Kai looked back at me, running his tongue over his teeth. “There’s another party next week. I’d love to know if you’d be able to hold on to your perfume until then.” He dipped in close to me, skimming his teeth over the shell of my ear before tugging on me enough that I yelped.

He laughed as he drew back and I shot a hand up to test it, more excited than worried if it was bleeding. If he had really tried to claim me, I would know.

“Brandy,” he sing-songed. “You need to be able to control yourself if you want to be a proper omega. But I’d love to make you perfume all over the place so your body could be honest about what a slut you really are.”

I swallowed, my throat bobbing against his fan.

“What do you think? Sounds fun, right? The winner has to stay the fuck away from Sin and Cas. And if anyone wants to complain you aren't our mate, then we can just make you perfume in front of them as proof, and that will be that.”

I gave him a shocked look, but he was serious. An omega who couldn’t control their perfume was still seen as immature, and if they were my age, they were seen as a lost cause. But they would usually take scent blockers by that point.

If I perfumed at any of these parties, people would look down on me even more than they had. It was hard enough talking to people earlier. I wasn’t sure what would be worse: perfuming in front of them or them finding out I worked for Knottinghill Spa.

Well, used to…

I didn’t know what to say. They were paying me, so was I meant to do whatever they wanted?

“What if I take scent-blockers?” I asked, knowing there was no way I’d be able to get hold of them now that I’d cut off contact with my sister.

“No, that’s totally cheating. I want you raw for me.”
