We both just stand there on my threshold, her wrapped in my arm. As she places her face on my chest a shiver runs up my spine.

“I miss you so much Rhet Ashely Banner” she mutters in my chest.

I pull her tightly against my body, “Not as much as I miss you Zee. I’m sorry for everything.”

She places her hand on my face “I’m sorry too. I love you so much.”

I laugh out loud, my voice bounces through the corridor “I love you too. I know I asked but I need to ask again. Marry me? I have a ring in the desk.”

She reaches up rubs our noses together and kisses me “Yes Ashely, I would love to marry you.”

I laugh because I know that is about to be my nickname for our entire marriage.

I kiss her softly running my tongue into the corners of her lips then my hunger takes over. I pull her inside, close the door and press her against it. “Let me show you how much I miss you”.

ZEETA

Hand in hand, Rhet and I walk back into ICONIC. My left hand feels heavy with the octagon diamond engagement ring. As we walk in the music stops and everyone is staring. Penny smiles wide as she stands in the arms of Tarek.

I feel Rhet tighten his grip and he raises our hands and kisses it.

I raised my hand high in the air, “He asked to put a ring on it. And I said yes!”

The crowd erupts in applause. Cole, Dax, Tarek, Dante and Jasper approach us.

“Pussy, you did it.” Someone slaps Rhet on his back.

“How is she going to keep loving an asshole like you?” Jasper chortles as he hugs Rhet.

“Congratulations, man.” Tarek says as he squeezes my shoulder.

Draven steps towards Rhet, and extends his hand, “Congratulations Banner.” Rhet shakes his hand, “Thank you spare.”

Draven shakes his head and chuckles.

“Poor girl. Congratulations.” Dax says.

Dante holds my hands squeezes it “I am proud of you sis,”

Penny squeezes through the men, Tarek’s eyes never leaving her, “Let me see that ring.”

I show her and we both begin to hop and scream.

“Women.” I hear someone say.

“How soon is this wedding going to be?” Penny asks, still looking at the ring.

Before I can answer, Rhet says “A month.”

I laugh at the thought, “Impossible, baby.”

“With money love, anything is possible.” Rhet replies.

Jasper stops us with his arms in front of him “You do realize you are officially the first wife of our group of friends.”

Rhet pulls me in and kisses my forehead “She is also the first mom too.”
