Javier gave me more instructions.
As the door opens to the parking lot, I walk out not looking back at Javier. “Your debt is clear,”
I make way to the car. There is only one man I needed to see tonight.
My phone rings it’s my dad “Yeah?”
“Where are you?” he asks.
“Going to deal with Carson.”
My father pauses “He is a Quarter Master son.”
“I don’t give a shit about your secret society prick sucking group dad.”
I take my fob out and unlock my car.
“I will meet you there.”
I pull back and look at my phone “For what?”
“I said I will be there. Don’t do anything stupid.”

The wroughtiron gates open slowly revealing Carson’s long cobble stoned driveway. Last time I was here, I was leaving while Carson cussed me out. Tonight, I will be making new memories. Tonight, I take back the life that was taken from my brother.
My heart pumps in anticipation. Yet the rest of me feels dead. I have had these sick thoughts of killing the person who hurt Trent for years. Now, here I am about to do just that.
Stepping out of my car the air has a chill in it. Carson’s guard comes out to meet me.
I stop him. “Touch me and I end you right here.”
He rolls his shoulders like he is ready to fight. I step around him, going to the door.
“You fucking touch me, you’re dead.” As I reach the door, a man who looks like he belongs on Sparta’s steps stands in front of the door. I hear a car pull up and a car door closes.
“Move me,” the slice over his lip and eyes shows he isn’t afraid of battle. He’s taller, bigger, and maybe stronger. I however have a rage demon living inside of me.
“Do yourself a favor and move the fuck out of the way. Your jaw will meet your spine if you continue with this,” my insides were trembling.
He steps into my personal space.
“I don’t have time for this shit.” I pull my fist back and slam it into his eye. Without missing a beat, I press my gun to his hand.
“No please test me more.”
He holds his hands up in surrender. The door opens and Carson instantly appears.
“Rhet, please” I look back to see my father coming up behind me.
“I thought you were alone.”
“Surprise motherfucker plans changed. I brought him.”
I step inside passing Carson. Waiting for my father to enter, I stand next to the staircase. With my gun in one hand and the black case in the other, my mind is set for whatever needs to be done. My father ambles in.
“Rhet, let’s all sit and discuss this,” my father says. Still wondering why he was here I choose to ignore him.
