“Well, at least model Bob would.” I really should punch him when I see him.
“Who the hell is model Bob?” Julian ask
“Her boyfriend. Bob is my nickname for him.”
I chuckle lightly. “Why is he going to be there? I thought I told her it’s not a date night.”
“His father owns one of the biggest steel factories in Warrick, England,” he replies.
It dawns on me who the hell he is. “Are you kidding me Yorkie is a millionaire?”
“No, he’s a billionaire and also has his eyes set on Zee.”
Forget shooting him, I want to sink his feet into a heavy block of cement and push him over a bridge and send him into the bottom of the ocean.
“By the maroon-colored splotches on your face. I can say you don’t like the man one bit.” Julian teases.
I close my eyes trying to calm myself. I shouldn’t be angry with who she dates or the person she wants to date. Fuck that, I want him on a one-way flight back to England. Maybe the new King can do me a favor and shout the wordsoff with his head.
“On the bright side, he’s more of a player than you are. He once had three mistresses at the same time,” Julian says.
“You don’t say. We have ourselves a regular Casanova in our mist.” See there is a silver lining in every gray cloud or some shit.
“Also, I’m not a player. I tell women the deal before I screw them.”
My phone beeps and it’s Dax.
Dax: See you later. Feel privileged I’m agreeing to this bullshit.
Me: Stfu. Do you need help finding a date?
Dax: What? This is not Jasper it’s Dax.
I snicker feeling better knowing Dax will be coming. I know Tarek will also be there tonight.
“It will be fine, Julian. By the way, thanks for being here today even with the baby.”
Julian gets up and adjusts his dark blue tie. “You think I’m doing this for you. I needed a time out from the baby. Nanny be damned, my wife and I are tired. It’s just vomit, shit, eating, pissing, and crying. But I love the kid.”
I smirk. “Well, thank you for my daily dose of mental birth control.”
“Here’s some stupid advice off record. I’ve grown to like Zeeta and so do you. Stop the bullshit or you will lose her to York.”
“God, that’s an annoying name,” I mumble.
“It will be even more annoying if she gets into a serious relationship with him and Bob has what you want.” Julian stares me in my eyes.
I pull at the cigar before placing it on the silver astray.
“Bob can have whatever he likes. It’s not my business.” I tense from my lie.
Julian chuckles. “Fine. I will see you tonight.” He turns and struts out of my office.
I place a call to Stefano’s. I’m informed my new suit will be delivered to my house within ten minutes. Nothing is going to disturb me; tonight is going to be a great night.

Limousinesmove slowly around the circular driveway. Women are wearing designer gowns and their glittery jewelry. I step out of my limo, and my date takes my hand as she gets out. Gorgeous, that’s how hot my date looks on my arm. The dark green, cowl neck, thin strap, satin dress fits her body perfectly. Add her blonde curly hair and green eyes, I have the hottest date in town.
