Fuck, there’s going to be more? I don’t react, though. As a submissive to the club, I’ve agreed to accept punishments as long as they don’t fall outside my limits. There is a safeword I can use as well, but I’ve never needed it up to this point.

“Yes, Master Victor.”

Victor bends and unlocks the handcuffs. He brushes a kiss to my cheek before pulling Lili to her feet using the leash. Even though he’s freed me, I don’t get up right away. It’s like I’m stuck and can’t stop staring at Victor and Lili. As I watch them walk out of the room, I am confronted with conflicting feelings of irritation and arousal.

For both of them.

Chapter 10

Victor

WhyamIbeingso cruel to Gracie? Perhaps it’s because she’s so innocent sometimes it’s almost painful, and I want her to stand up for herself. Or maybe I am just an asshole.

Either way, I’ll follow through on my threat because I’m nothing if not a man of my word, and we have safewords in place for a reason.

But that will need to wait until later. Right now, I have to take Lili to talk with Owen and the others. They’re more pissed at me than I thought they would be, and I don’t want to be on their bad side for any longer than necessary. I admit that what I’ve done is stupid, but I’m not ready to say that out loud to them. We needed to draw Phineas Draven out of the shadows, and his wife should be the perfect bait, if he cares about her at all.

But to hear Lili tell it, he doesn’t, so we’ll see how well my spur of the moment plan works.

My prisoner digs her heels in halfway across the dungeon floor, and I tug hard on the leash. When she doesn’t budge, I get close and slide a hand into her hair. “You don’t want to play games with me, Spitfire. I will end you.”

She stares at me, silently daring me to make her listen, and I hate to admit that her defiance turns me on.

When she doesn’t budge, I look at Owen who just shrugs his shoulders like the smug bastard he is, as if to say, “I’m not the one who kidnapped her, she’s your problem.”

With a disgusted shake of my head, I bend and put one arm behind her knees and the other behind her back and scoop her up, carrying her the rest of the way to Matteo’s office.

Thankfully, she’s smart enough not to scream and cause a scene.

In the office, I dump her on Matteo’s sofa and keep hold of the leash.

Matteo leans against his desk and glares at me before turning his attention to Lili.

“It seems we share a common enemy, Mrs. Draven.”

Lili scoffs. “My husband is a cheating bastard, but he is not my enemy. I can’t begin to guess what you people are trying to pull, but I won’t help you after what this bastard did, if that’s what you think.”

The answer surprises me, given what we talked about in her room earlier. I thought she would be on board to help us.

Matteo clucks his tongue and shakes his head. “How about I do the talking?”

When she opens her mouth, I stick two fingers inside. I shouldn’t be surprised when she bites down, but I only flinch for a second.

“You can bite them off if you want to, Spitfire. But you will be quiet, or I’ll find something much less pleasant to gag you with.”

When blood runs down her chin, I squeeze her throat with my other hand until she lets go.

Without a word, Luke pulls a first aid kit from behind Matteo’s desk and hands it to me.

“If we’re done with the theatrics, I’d like to get finished here. Can’t let Tobias hog all the time with our wife tonight.”

Bellamy, Tobias, and Owen are in an unconventional relationship, and one of them is legally married to her, but they won’t tell us who. Bellamy doesn’t even know. The paperwork is locked in a safe somewhere if it’s needed for emergencies or medical situations, but she considers both men her husband, though she considers Owen to be her Master. I don’t pretend to understand the dynamic. All that matters is they’re all happy, and that makes me happy.

Lili looks at Owen with a strange expression as I clean and bandage the bite marks on my fingers.

“Our wife?” Lili questions.

“A story for another time, I’m afraid,” he tells her in his annoying British accent.
