His fingers find my pussy as he continues the conversation with someone from work. He pumps two digits in and out of me until I whimper, and he pulls them free and shoves them both in my mouth.
When he finishes the call, he pulls me close for a lengthy kiss.
“Good girl,” he whispers in my ear.
“What did I do?” I ask.
“You didn’t give into temptation when I left you alone.”
I frown. “Do you have a camera or something?”
He laughs. “No, Mariposa. I could tell by your pussy. You’re drenched and needy still.”
I relax at those words. While I wouldn’t care if he wanted to put cameras up to watch me, if it were some kind of voyeur thing, I would want a heads up. I’m ashamed of myself for even thinking that Victor would try something like that without my consent. It’s not like him.
“What are we going to do today if I’m not going to work and you’re changing your shift?”
“I have to take care of some club business as usual. You and Lili will stay here. There are guards keeping an eye on the property. Keep your phone volume on.”
He kisses me one more time and walks out the front door.
I go in search of Lili, but her door is still closed, and I can hear faint snoring, so I go back downstairs and rummage around for something to eat.
As I’m slicing an apple to dip in some peanut butter, I hear a door open upstairs.
A few minutes later, Lili emerges wearing the clothes from yesterday.
“I see we’re both short on clothes,” she says with a smile. “Good morning, Grace. Did Victor let you get any sleep?”
I hold up a second apple. “Want one?”
“No thank you. Coffee would be amazing, though. I’ve been going a little crazy without it these last few days.”
I feel terrible. Why didn’t it occur to me to offer her coffee at the club?
“There’s a pot over there if you want to make it yourself or I don’t mind doing it for you.”
Lili waves me off. “Please. You don’t have to wait on me. I’m a big girl. You do too much for other people and not enough for yourself, Grace.”
Her chastisement makes me blush, but I keep working on my morning snack.
“I slept quite well. We just went to bed.”
Lili frowns. “That’s disappointing after the way he was with you down here I thought for sure he would keep you up all night screaming and coming.”
I laugh. “I think he wanted to, but he also knew I needed sleep and tried to respect that. We... had some fun and came to some agreements this morning.”
Lili claps her hands together with glee before turning the fancy coffee pot on. “This is exciting.”
I shake my head in disbelief. “How can you be so thrilled for Victor when he kidnapped you?”
She leans against the counter as the coffee pot gurgles and tilts her head to one side, as if contemplating her answer. “Maybe I’m more thrilled for you than I am for him. Or perhaps I have Stockholm syndrome. More likely is that I recognize a good person when I see one even if they don’t make the best choices. Victor kidnapped me in a moment of desperation and opportunity, not because he gets his rocks off kidnapping women. My husband is hurting his family, and he’s ready to put an end to it. It just so happens I’m ready to not have a husband anymore. We are mutually beneficial to each other even if he did take a drastic step to bring us to this moment. I admire a man of action.”
The way she talks about Victor makes me twinge with jealousy, but I push it down. Mostly because I agree with everything she’s saying. And somewhat because I can’t stop staring at her mouth and remembering our kiss.
“Grace, I’m going to need you to stop looking at me like that so that Victor doesn’t murder me and dump me in Lake Mead.”
I laugh nervously. “He likes you as much as I do.”
