Page 65 of Unfolding Ethan

I rolled my eyes at her and looked at my phone when it pinged with a message. It was from Ethan.

TheBe(D)StFriend:Hey, can you get a ride with some1?I have to stay after practice and then go buy some groceries for dinner. It’s ma’s day :-)

I smiled at the text. The Kane family always had special days when any one of them would make dinner each day.

All right, sir. Will do. Do I have to babysit Evey too? If so, I am down.

Shit! I forgot to send an emoji.

TheBe(D)StFriend:Don’t call me that. And yes, you have to babysit her. Btw, you didn't send me an emoji. Are we breaking up already? Tell me what did I do, babe )):

I chuckled, shaking my head, and walked in the corner when Katherine tried to pry over my shoulder and read our texts.

Nothing your kisses, hands, and mouth cant fix ;-)

Can’t*

I sent him the text and waited for his reply as three dots appeared on the screen.

TheBe(D)StFriend:nghowhf. Okay, eat something healthy in snacks, I think I will exhaust you by the time i'd be done with u

I blushed seeing the tongue and sprinkling water emoji at the end of his text. I could already feel the anxiousness building in my stomach and smiled lazily.

Kay, SIR. I will be waiting for you ;-)))

I loved teasing him.

TheBe(D)StFriend:Christ. You better be. C you at home :-[

Katherine walked toward me and, holding my shoulder, she whispered, “Go get his dick, girl.Dickhim right!”

I frowned and patted her shoulder. “Okay, Kat.Notcreepy at all.”

But I couldn't wait for tonight. We might lose our virginities to each other. I was excited and ready.

???

“Mama!”

I chuckled, shaking my head at Eveline when she raised her arms, trying to grab my hair with her tiny little fingers. Her eyes were gray with specks of blue in them and her hair was blond like Julia’s.

“No, baby. I am not your mama, she is out with your other mama. I am Kiara,” I said in a baby voice and threw the diaper in the dustbin.

Washing my hands in the sink, I walked back to the crib where Ethan's sister was on her stomach, her baby-soft buttocks in the air dusted with the powder. She babbled some excited chants as I grinned at her, helping the fresh diaper up her legs, and helped her wear a cute baby blue pajama with little bananas over them.

“Mama!” she grumbled and held the strand of my hair in her tiny fist while I was pushing her soft leg in the baby blue pajama.

“Owowow. Don’t, Evey.” I carefully disentangled my hair from her hands and made a lazy bun on top of my head. “I don't know why you and your brother love my hair. The secret is coconut oil.” I smiled and gathered her in my arms.

Eve grinned and flailed her arms hearing her big brother's name. “Mama!” I felt my heart thudding in my chest when she snuggled her face in my neck.

“Not mama. I am Kiara, love. Kee-aa-raa. Come on, say it with me.” I bobbed her in my arms, taking her in the living room.

“Aahaahaahaahaah!” she squealed, screaming ‘aah’ and flailing her limbs as I set us down on the soft fluffy rug. I chuckled with her and wiped the saliva slobbered on her cheek and jaw.

She was sleeping when Rio dropped me off, and her mom, Julia, was about to leave when I came knocking on the door.

“Aren’t you a little bundle of joy?” I asked, tickling her. She laughed in her baby voice still screaming‘aah.’
