I kissed her neck and whispered, "Let's go or else I am taking you home, tearing this dress away, and fucking you until your throat gets sore from screaming my name."
She took a shuddering breath and looked at me with her dark eyes, clouded with lust and desire. I held her hand and opened the door for her.
We had to drive to Becky's house to pick her up. During the whole ride, I tried to keep my hands to myself, but I ended up brushing Kiara's bare back as my fingers slowly trailed on the curve of her spine. I hid my smirk every time she took a shaky breath, glaring at me when she talked animatedly with Katherine and Volt.
The club was pretty decent with illuminating lights and blaring music as they played every mix from the ’80s to ’90s. Even though the teachers had made sure there was non-alcoholic punch, we made sure it was alcoholic, and they didn't bother to do anything because they knew we would bring our own alcohol, and we had.
I had a hard time leaving Kiara alone. I glared at any guy who dared to stare at her for a second too long and wrapped my arm around her waist.
Kiara chuckled, keeping her hand on my chest. "Stop scaring those kids away. They like what they seeeeeee." She pulled away and twirled, her dress flowing with her.
"Come here, Kia." I grasped her wrist, tugging her to my chest when some laughing jerks danced backward, almost stumbling into Kiara. "Stay with me," I said and took her toward the food aisle. She did not complain one bit.
As we sat at the table looking at obnoxiously loud people having fun, I cursed their entire family. They were so loud and so talkative, I hated all of it.Why did I even bother coming to prom?Oh, yes, I wanted to see Kiara enjoy her prom night and of course, see her in that gorgeous dress. But that didn't stop me from glaring at anyone who dared to sit beside Kiara when she munched on chicken nuggets.
"Airplane,” Kiara shrieked, making the chicken nugget act like it was an airplane. "Whhhrrrrrrrr!"
I hid my smile as it stopped across my lips and she ordered me to eat and made me bite on the nugget. "You're such a child when you're drunk," I said after swallowing the food. It was delicious. No wonder she was on her third plate.
My eyes widened in amusement when Kiara stumbled from her chair and sat on my lap, her arms wrapping around my neck, and I held her waist. I shifted her a bit, trying to control the twitch in my pants when she stared at me with her dark fuck-me eyes.
"I amnota child. I am a woman, and you know that very well," her voice slurred as she kissed me below my ear and whispered, "Do you want me to remind you, Ethan?"
My hands tightened around her waist and before I could reply she jumped up and held my arm, yelling over the music, "It's my favorite song. Let's dance!"
"What about the—”
She shushed me by placing her finger over my lips. "Tonight. Your room." Kia tugged me closer, keeping her hand on my shoulder, and held my hand as she smiled up at me. "But right now, let's have our last dance."
I swayed with Kiara, my arms draped around her waist. Everyone was dancing softly to the song as lights dimmed, creating a calm and comforting atmosphere. I saw Rio and Samuel kiss as Katherine took their pictures, making Ryan take her phone away and drag her to dance with him. On the other corner, Volt and Becky were doing a weird robotic dance that didn't match with the song at all.Well, at least they’re having the time of their lives.
Kiara whispered, "Everyone's so happy."
I peered down at her and she was gazing at our friends. "Yeah, they are. Aren't you?"
She met my eyes and smiled softly. "Are you kidding me?" She leaned closer. "I feel the happiest person right now."
"Why is that?"
"Because I haveyou."
She pressed her soft lips on mine when I pulled her closer, cupping her face as our breath heaved, and I felt like lightning had struck me when she kissed me back with the same ferocity.
“I love you, Bella.” I smiled, brushing my thumb over her cheekbone.
Kiara kissed me once more, hugging me. “I love you more, Ethan.”
"Can I have this dance?"
I looked at Vivian, who was blushing furiously as he looked between Kiara and me. "No—” I started, but Kiara squeezed my arm.
"It's just one dance, Ethan," she muttered, looking away. "Come on. One dance only."
Vivian's face lit up as she held his hand and smiled. I stared at them dancing with each other and I understood why she was always so kind. Receiving a true and genuine smile on another person's face must be a blessing to her. So, I let her dance, drinking the punch and making sure that every guy in the club knew she was with me.
As the night came to an end, Rio and Ariana became the Prom King and Queen. It was funny to watch both of them dance; more like squirm with each other with a poker face as they'd be anywhere but there. There was after prom party at Liam's house, but we decided to go home even though we were invited. Katherine and Ryan had left early for their flight to London.
I was holding Kiara's heels as she leaned closer to me, my other hand rubbing circles on her back.
