"The question is: how do we make sure our message gets heard?" Casey asked.
I closed my packet and lifted a shoulder. "That's what we have to figure out."
"We can send out fancy ball invitations," Natalia suggested.
"Awesome," I said and wrote down the idea.
"In addition to social media, we could also try to get local press coverage," Casey said and then muttered, "though they've never responded to our requests before."
"Still," I said, adding that as well, "it's worth a shot."
After going back and forth, we made some adjustments to my initial plan, added several new ideas, and came up with a rough estimate of the timeline to reach our fundraising goal. Now, we'd just have to execute. I sat back, placing my pen down, with a grin.
"Well, that was productive," I said.
When there was no response, I looked up. Casey and Natalia were staring at me with expectant looks.
"What do you want to know?" I said with a sigh.
The questions came at a rapid pace.
Casey: "Well first off, on a scale of one to mind-blowing, how good was that kiss really?"
Me: "Mind-blowingtimes infinity. Next."
Natalia: "Why did he kiss you?"
Me: "To help me out after I got rejected by someone else."
Casey: "Who was recording?"
Me: "The guy who rejected me."
Natalia: "Jerk."
Casey: "Douchebag."
I didn't deny either.
Natalia: "Were you mad about the video?"
Me: "A little."
Casey: "Was that your first kiss?"
Me: "Yep."
Natalia: "Do you think it washisfirst kiss?"
Me: "No way, it was too amazing."
Casey: "Would you do it again?"
Me: "In a heartbeat."
Casey: "Would you do it againwith Bo?"
Me (mumbling): "Same answer."
