I looked to Bo, and he nodded.
"That's us," he said.
"You know that has over a million views, right?"
I nearly choked. "Really?"
She nodded, gesturing to the girl beside her. "The library kiss challenge is whywe even came. It's cool to meet you."
"Good to meet you too," I said somewhat in a daze.
"Can we get a picture?" she asked. "Honestly, I didn't expect you guys to be real."
I nodded then walked around the counter, holding in a gasp as Bo wrapped a hand around my waist.
"Well, we are," he said, giving me a small smile. "Right, Kent?"
"Right," I said.
He was so close. His eyes were so familiar and warm.
Leaning up, I gave him a kiss on the cheek, and Bo froze in surprise. That was right when theother couple snapped apic. I asked ifthey would send it to me, and theysaid yes. Again, I knew I probably shouldn't have done it, just kissed Bo out of the blue like that. But I couldn't resist.
He was quickly becoming something that I didn't want to resist.
Which was a problem for several reasons.
The biggest one being: If I gave in, I knew, somehow, I just knew I wouldn't want to give him up.
CHAPTER 16
Fact: Holding hands was seriously underrated.
I didn't know if it was because I'd read so many romance booksor because I could basically live off K-dramas, rom-coms, and swoony movies for the rest of my life and be content. But holding Bo's hand was quickly becoming one of my favorite things.
Whenever we walked through the halls, he reached for me.
His hand was larger, his fingers longer, the skin a bit rougher than mine.
But my hand fit perfectly in his.
I loved it when he intwined our fingers together.
Now and again, he also ran his thumb up and down the center of my palm, ending in a soft circle against my wrist.
The gentle movement made my pulse jump, eyelids flutter, and sent a shiver of pleasure down my spine.
It was crazy.
That small touch affected me way more than it should have. I had a feeling Bo knew this which was why he kept doing it. But I couldn't be sure because whenever I glanced his way, Bo's face was completely blank.
Just to see what would happen, I tried the move on him once.
Bo hadn't moved an inch.
His jaw tightened the slightest bit, but other than that?
Nothing.
