"Hayden Davenport, the lead singer is so hot," Natalia agreed.

Casey shrugged. "I prefer Santino, but whatever."

Thinking about those numbers, that so many people had seen Bo and I kiss, made me feel a little dizzy.

"I think I need to sit down," I mumbled then did just that, knees giving out as I plopped into the chairbehind the counter. "Millions…ugh."

"I love you, Lottie," Casey said. "You're like the only person who doesn't want to go viral in this attention-driven society."

Natalia and I looked to her, and she shrugged.

"What? It's true."

I shook my head. "Okay, back to the charity event. Any ideas on how to raise more funds?"

"I think it's obvious," Casey said.

"Me too," Natalia agreed, and they both looked to me with matching grins.

"No," I said immediately, hands held out as if I could stop them from saying what I knew was coming. "No way."

"Why not?"

"Because…"

As I trailed off, unable to concoct a good excuse—or at least not one I could say to the girls—Casey lifted a brow. "Lottie, do you want to donate more than ever this year to children who need books?" she asked.

"Well, yeah," I said.

"And do you want to feel like you've done everything you possibly could for the cause?"

"You know I do."

"Even if you may have to step out of your comfort zone?"

I nodded resolutely.

"Then this is it." Casey lifted her shoulders. "I think you should kiss Bo again."

The words ran through me like wildfire.

"Film the smooch; be sure to mention the event, and we'll post it online. Everyone in favor?"

Both Casey and Natalia's hands shot up in the air. They waited, but eventually, I raised mineas well. They were staring at me with such hopeful expressions. What else could I do?

"It shouldn't be too hard," Natalia said with a laugh. "I mean, you and Bo must kiss all the time, right?"

"Hmmm," I said.

If by "all the time," she meant "just that one time," then yeah.

Casey frowned. "Everything going okay with you and Bo?"

Well, we technically ended our fake relationship—I think—which probably, most likely means Bo won'tactually be down to kiss me again. But other than that, it's all good.

"Going okay," I repeated then stood. "I have to go."

My head was better, but I felt the need to escape. Lucky for me, I had the perfect excuse.Reaching beneath the counter, I pulled out the two containers aka my diversion.
