“Wet me up, pretty. Give me all that nut you’ve been holding in. I want to have it dripping down my dick. Don’t hold back.”

I came long and hard, causing me to lose my balance for the final time. Khalid lifted me up in his arms, peppering my face with kisses. I giggled while relishing the love he was giving me.

“I love you.” Hearing those words would never get old to me. I felt the power behind them, and he showed me with his actions.

“I love you too. Thank you for taking such good care of me.”

“It’s my job to take care of you not only financially, but mentally and physically. When I say I got you, I mean in every aspect.” Reaching up, I held his braids in my hand as I pulled him closer to me.

“Don’t start, or we’ll never make it to breakfast.”

“What if I want to skip it anyway and just have you?” I asked. My body had been void of his touch for so long that I wanted nothing more than to have him inside of me for the rest of the day.

“Your body needs nourishment. Trust me, I plan on having my way with you as soon as we get back home tonight.” Khalid carried me into the room, and then wrapped a towel around me.

“Where exactly are we going tonight? You still haven’t told me anything about what these mystery plans are.” He smirked while laying me across the bed. Taking the towel, I lay there as he dried me off. Khalid took such good care of me, and I didn’t mind sitting back and letting him do it.

“Where’s your lotion at?”

“Right over there.” I pointed to the basket that held all the lotions I used to moisturize my skin. He rubbed his hands together to make sure the lotion wasn’t too cold. Little things like that always made to feel special. Most men wouldn’t even think about doing things like this, but he did. He paid attention to the little details about me, and it warmed my heart.

“I thought we were going somewhere together.”

“We are going somewhere together, but first, I have a couple of things I need you to take care of before our date.” My face frowned in confusion until I heard my sister’s familiar voice.

“Where you at, sissy?!!!” Walking into the foyer, not only was my sister there, but so were Ciyani, Miyana, and Janae.

“What are y’all doing here?”

“Bro told us you were out here looking like a hairy, claw-footed banshee, and he requested up to come and rescue his wife from under there.” I chuckled at Ren’s jabs at me. If no one else was going to tell me the truth, I knew she would.

“Woah now, sis. That’s not what I said. I only called them so they could help you get pampered for our date tonight. You’re beautiful to me no matter what, but I know how you are about going out when you don’t feel your best. I’m not accepting any excuses, so I went to the experts.” Khalid’s face was bright red as he attempted to explain what really happened. I found it so funny, knowing he didn’t want to hurt my feelings.

“It’s okay, baby. I know I’ve been looking a little scary lately. I’m going to get it together.”

“You’re damn right you are. We already got all our equipment ready; let’s get to it!” Janae declared. These ladies were my sisters, so to see them in my living room made me so emotional.

“I know damn well you’re not about to cry. My nephew has really done a number on you.” Ren walked over, wrapping her arms around me. I’d confided in her about my depression since becoming a mother, and she assured me there was no reason to beat me up. She rubbed my back as I sobbed into her shoulder. Everyone thought Serenity was the mean one, but out of all of us siblings, she possessed the more nurturing heart. She’d been my guardian and protector for as long as I could remember.

Shortly after, I felt multiple sets of arms around me, giving me strength from every angle. They had no clue what them just being here was doing for me. I felt encouraged, knowing they were concerned about me and wanted to make me feel better. That was love in action.

A lot of times, women get pregnant, and they lose friends by the time they get to the birth. These ladies have stuck beside me throughout the entire process with love, support, and laughter. I knew they would love and protect Khalil with the same love they’d have for themselves. Everyone wasn’t as blessed, and I’d never take it for granted.

“Alright, we are on a time crunch, so let’s get you set up so we can do this transformation,” Yaya called out. I was still curious about the fact that everyone seemed to know what was going on except me.

“I’m going to start first because once I get her hair washed, we can put her in the chair, and you can get started on her,” Ciyani explained to her.

“Sounds like a plan. Bro, can you show us where you want us to set up?” Yaya inquired. No one cared that I was standing here completely confused by everything going on around me.

“Y’all can come with me. Ciyani, I put some towels in the kitchen because I wasn’t sure where you wanted to set up. If you need me to help y’all with anything, let me know.” I watched my man go down the hall, flashbacks of our time in the shower playing in my mind.

“Look at you over there drooling with your lovesick ass,” Janae teased.

“Girl, I know you’re not talking about her because we almost needed to pry you off Wisdom’s lap to even make it here. You recognize the gleam in her eye because you have the same one.” Yaya put her on blast.

“We’re supposed to be cousins, and this is how you do me?” Janae pretended to be hurt.

“Girl, bye! You are obsessed with that man, and there’s no denying it.”
