She hugged me again. “Long story. You’re okay though?”

“I am,” I said.

She smiled. “I’m glad.”

“Mina?” I asked.

“She’s on her way here too,” she said, and I hugged her yet again.

“Oh good,” said Marcy as she strolled into the house with a tall, handsome man next to her who wasn’t Bram. She looked at Stratton and smiled wide. “Congratulations on all the sex.”

Drest shot Stratton a hard look.

Marcy beamed, still focused on Stratton. “Did you have fun? I bet you did. Peggy told me that she talked to Astria about being more aggressive sexually.”

I tensed. This was not happening.

Stratton laughed so hard that he stopped making sound.

Drest looked to be rethinking attacking his cousin.

“I can’t take her anywhere.” The man with Marcy put a hand over his eyes and shook his head. When he looked up, his attention came to me and Willa. Shock flashed in his eyes, but he hid it quickly, choosing instead to watch us closely.

Willa’s gaze locked with his. Curiosity filled her eyes.

Marcy came right for us, and bear hugged Willa and me at the same time. “I’m so happy to see you both. Willa, when is Mina getting here?”

“You know Mina?” asked Willa.

“Not yet,” said Marcy. “But I already love her. We’re all going to be such great friends. That reminds me, I can’t wait for you to tell me all about how Jonathan is in bed.”

“Who?” Willa asked.

Marcy motioned to the man. “Jonathan Harker.”

Willa clutched my hands for dear life. “You’re sleeping with him, Astria?”

Stratton shot forward, coming right for me. “No! She’s sleeping withme, her husband.”

Drest grunted.

Willa let go of my hands and grabbed my shoulders, hugging me tight. “Ohmygod, congratulations. Wait, who was Marcy talking to about sleeping with the other guy, um…?”

“Jonathan,” said Marcy, still smiling. “He drove me here since my honey-bear hid all the car keys from me. Burgess is sleeping on his chest right now. That will teach him a lesson. Mess with me and I’ll let a squirrel take a nap on you while you’re out cold.”

Willa blinked a few times. “All right, I’m not sure where to go with that.”

“You get used to her,” I found myself saying.

Willa tipped her head. “Uh, okay.”

I snorted, my focus going to my husband. Grimm Cove was just as strange as I remembered it being, and yet somehow, it felt even more like home. “Stratton, can we move this talk to your house?”

“Ourhouse,” he corrected.

“Right, our house,” I said with a grin. “Um, we should probably show me where the house is.”

He laughed and nodded. “Home is wherever you’re with me.”
