“I’m serious,” she laughed. “C’mon, we can’t do this out here.”

She took his hand and led him back inside the house. The staff was quite busy. More people arrived. Among them were locals from the hamlets surrounding Sorrento. Those who were often invited during family celebrations to reward them for their loyalty.

“Wow, who are all these people?” Belinda asked.

Leo didn’t respond. The Battaglias were very consistent with their generosity. It was why it had been so hard for decades to break the code ofOmertàwithin the Camorra. No one is willing to bite the hand that feeds them. Together they escaped the crowded gathering inside of the villa and took the adventure up the stairs. Instead of stopping on the second floor they headed for the third. The moment they reached the top of the stairs they saw a small child dash down the hall in the opposite direction. Her long blondish brown pigtails bounced against her back. Her puppy was close on her heels. She went inside a door and closed it.

“Wait. Is that Eve?” Leo asked.

Belinda sighed.

“She’s always sneaking around the third floor. I’ve caught her up here twice.”

“Why?” he asked.

“I don’t know. She says it’s exploring. I think she and that puppy just go into different rooms and play.”

“Let me check on her,” Leo started to go after her.

“Noooooo! She’s fine. I brought you up here for me.”

“She’s supposed to be invilla Rosso.”

“This is her house Leo. What trouble could she really get up too? Seriously?”

He stared for a moment uncertain about Eve being left alone. Then Belinda’s hand stroked down his groin and her tongue flicked at his ear. “Do you want to play babysitter or be my tough horny guy?” she whispered. Leo chuckled. Belinda took him by the hand and pulled him in the opposite direction.

“Why are we up here?” he asked.

“It’s the perfect place to play hide and seek,” she teased. “Eve taught me that.”

“This is where the Donna works,” Leo frowned. “No one has a key but the Donna.”

“I do,” she revealed the key. “I swiped it earlier from her office.”

Leo shook his head.

“You can thank me later,” she said and unlocked the door. He walked inside with trepidation in his heart. No one ventured into the Donna’s space without an invite. But Belinda’s bold fearlessness was contagious. Add to it the drinking he’d done, he caved. He looked around at the fabric rolls and sewing machine finding the room quite ordinary. He went deeper into the dark space, closer to the windows. There the moonlight shone brightest. A magenta chaise lounge chair with many gold and magenta pillows looked perfect for them.

“Nice, isn’t it?” Belinda asked. “My guess is that Mirabella fucked the Don on that very chair.”

Leo frowned in disgust. Belinda laughed. She then removed her blouse. Before she could encourage him to go further she dropped it and then took off her bra. She wore tight fitting pants that hugged her shapely hips and thighs. She was a Goddess whether clothed or naked. However, he preferred her naked.

“You are beautiful,” Leo said. “In every way.”

“Am I?”

He grinned.

“Then show me, bad boy.”

“SHHH... BOO-BOO, STOPbarking!” Eve said.

She stood on her tip-toes and reached the box of matches. Boo-Boo barked even more excitedly. Eve ignored her pup and walked over to her favorite spot in the storage closet. She pulled out the mop bucket and turned it over. She then plopped down.

“Time to make fire?” Eve smiled.
