“Oh, god, little one, you’re so tight.” Raven had to clench his teeth and fight his body’s urge to lose control and come right then and there. As if he was a green teenager having sex for the first time instead of over thirty and more than a little jaded. He slid both hands up her body to cup her tits.

Taylynn worked herself up and down his shaft, her body arched. Raven flicked her nipples with his thumbs until they were puckered and hard. He wanted to taste them again but he couldn’t stand to stop her moving over him so instead he used his mouth for other things.

“Yes, that feels so good, little one. Ride me. Take it all.”

He didn’t know if it was his hands on her tits, the way she lifted off him and sank down in a slow but steady rhythm, or his words, but her pussy started to flutter around him. Wanting to push her over the edge, he lowered one hand to where they came together and rubbed his thumb in small circles over her clit.

“Oh!”Taylynn’s fingers curled into his chest where she’d braced them for leverage as she pumped up and down over his length. Her body clamped down on his, nearly making him come with her but he bit the inside of his cheek and fought the nearly overwhelming desires of his body. When she collapsed onto his chest, he rolled them over, careful to keep them joined as he moved, then he took over, moving faster he drove into her. Over and over he pushed himself deep, until she cried out, her body clamped down again, and he let himself go. Fire started at the base of his spine and raced upwards as he emptied himself into her.

Exhausted, he fell to one side, not wanting to crush her. He wrapped an arm around her and held her close while he caught his breath.

When he could breathe again he got up and went into his attached bathroom, took care of the condom and took a washcloth back to the bedroom to clean Taylynn up. Once he’d finished that, he tossed the washcloth into his dirty laundry pile and tugged the blankets out from under Taylynn, then lay down beside her and pulled the covers up over them both before pulling her into his arms. Sure, there were probably things he needed to do but there was nowhere he wanted to be more than where he was right now. He was going to enjoy it while he had it.

Chapter Twenty-Four

Taylynn woke slowly. Light streaming in the window told her it was morning, not the middle of the night. She’d slept all night without nightmares or having to get up for one reason or another. She didn’t know how long it had been since she’d slept through the night, but it had been longer than she cared to remember. She wondered if the warm body pressed against her back, or the arm wrapped around her middle holding her there and making her feel safe and protected was at least partly to thank for the first full night’s sleep she’d had in months.

She wanted to lie there, safe in his arms for as long as she could, but her bladder was screaming at her that it needed attention. She tried to ease out of bed but the arm around her middle tightened, then tugged her back where she’d begun.

“Where you going? I’m not done with you.”

“I need to use the restroom, or I’ll be making a mess. I’ll be right back.”

“Don’t be too long or I’ll have to come after you.” Raven released her. She scooted out of bed and turned to take him in. His long hair was mussed and spread out on the pillow, he had his face buried in the pillow. As she stood watching him, he turned his head and opened one eye.

“I thought you had to go? If you’re just going to stand there and stare at me, I’ll drag you back in with me.” The low rumble of his voice tempted her to crawl back in with him, but her bladder reminded her again what she was doing so she hurried into the restroom. While she was there, she brushed her teeth, then went back and joined him in bed. As she slid back into bed, Raven hooked an arm around her waist and tugged her against him, this time facing him instead of spooning.

“Why do I get the feeling you don’t want me too far away from you?” she asked as he buried his face in the crook of her neck. Taylynn couldn’t help but smile to herself at the way he snuggled against her and made her feel important to him.

“Because you’re smart. You’re right. I want to keep you close.” He took a deep breath and shifted his position. He moved so he lay on his side facing her instead of laying face down on the bed like he’d been while he’d been sleeping. He propped his head on the palm of one hand and watched her for a moment before speaking again. “Taylynn, you’re free. The Demons are gone. You could go anywhere you want. But I’m hoping you’ll agree to stay with me.”

“Stay?” her voice trembled despite how bad she wanted to project strength. “You want me to be a mama for the Angels?” Her chest tightened and spots flashed in her vision. How had she misjudged things here so badly? How had she landed right back where she’d started?

“Fuck no.” Raven’s arm tightened around her. “There’s no way I’d ask you to do that. Not after everything you’ve been through. Taylynn, little one.” He stopped talking, waiting until she looked up and met his gaze. “I’m asking you to be my old lady. I want you to be the queen of this club, baby. But only if that’s what you want.”

“Oh.” She didn’t know what to say. She looked away, trying to process his words. This was the last thing she’d expected. His old lady? She knew enough about club life to know that was as good as being his wife. But how would that work? Did she want that? She opened her mouth to speak, but hesitated—what if he didn’t know the answer? How would she ever feel like she could stay? No point in wondering and never asking so she spit out the question,
