As she stood and watched, the Little girl who taught her about healing kisses saw her and waved.
“Come play with us!” she demanded in a loud, happy tone.
The others turned to face her and then they were all waving and calling for her to come out and play. Several of them climbed out of the pool and skipped to the low fence that separated their patio from the pool. “Come out and play with us,” they began to chant as they wiggled their bodies and thrust their arms into the air in some sort of dance.
She wasn’t a Little, but Serena thought it would be fun to spend some time with them. They seemed so light and happy with no cares, which would be such a nice change from her day-to-day life.
“Give me a minute to change,” she said before turning away.
A few minutes later, she emerged from her room wearing her navy-blue one-piece suit. The racing-back suit was not anything special, just a suit that allowed her to swim weekly at the local Y so she could pass her swim test each year for the department.
Sliding the door to the room closed, she opened the gate and stepped into the pool area. The Littles, who had returned to the pool, cheered at her appearance.
“I can only stay a few minutes,” she said as she jumped feetfirst into the water.
A Little boy splashed her and the water fight was on. Serena lost track of time as they tossed the ball, played chase, and other water games. When the Littles were called out of the water by their caregivers, she finally focused on swimming laps. It felt good to stretch her muscles and get a workout in.
She’d swum ten laps before she heard a whistle blowing. Standing up, she was stunned to find she was the only one left in the pool.
“Get out, ma’am. There’s a storm brewing. Everyone needs to be out of the pool now,” the guard said, standing at the edge of the pool just in front of her.
Lightning flashing overhead and the skies opening up had her quickly push herself up and out of the pool. Once on her feet, she hurried around to the gate. Slipping inside, she grabbed the bath towel she’d left on the chair just inside the door. She was drying off while watching the storm through the now closed patio door when the door clicked behind her.
“I told you she wouldn’t be able to follow orders,” Noah said with a smirk as the two men walked in. “You owe me twenty bucks.”
Ford nodded, looking solemn except for the glint in his eyes. “So you did. I guess this means we’re all taking a trip to the Dungeon this afternoon for a punishment instead of waiting until tomorrow for funishment.”
“What? I… I?—”
“Don’t add lying to your transgressions,” Ford said as they surrounded her. While Noah stripped off her suit and finished drying her, Ford carefully unbraided her wet hair before drying it.
Once she was dry, Noah went to the closet and brought her a loose-fitting cotton knit dress and helped her pull it over her head. By then, Ford had retrieved her comb from the bathroom and settled in a chair. He pointed to the floor between his widespread legs and she knelt there with her back to him. He combed the tangles from her hair before pulling it back into a ponytail.
While Serena wanted to argue that she didn’t want a punishment in the Dungeon, she knew she had earned it. She had given her word not to leave the room, and she had. Taking a breath, she sighed when Noah held out a hand. Laying hers on top of it, she let him pull her to her feet.
“I’m sorry,” she said, dropping her head forward to stare at her toes. “I didn’t mean to be bad, but the Littles were having so much fun and they called me out.”
“Oh, sugar, you weren’t bad, just a little naughty,” Noah assured her as he hugged her and kissed her forehead before turning to face Ford.
Ford stepped up and hugged her before leaning back and looking in her face. “Are you Little, honey? Do we need to be taking Daddy Dom classes while we’re here?”
Serena shook her head. “No, I’m not Little, I’m just a plain submissive. But they were having so much fun, and the water looked so nice. I did swim laps after they had to leave.”
“Good girl, but we’re still going to the Dungeon now. We also have some things we need to talk about,” Ford said before brushing a kiss on her lips. “Noah, get the bag.”
* * *
Ford laced his fingers with Serena’s before they left the room. Hers were cold, but he could not be sure if it was from swimming, or what she would face in the Dungeon.
While he wanted to assure her everything would be fine, she had broken their rules, Master Derek’s rules, and needed to know that such actions had consequences. If they also managed to seduce her into accepting their proposal of joining them in a lifetime triad, all the better.
In the elevator, he pulled her around to face him. “From now until we go back upstairs, we are in high protocol. No talking to others, no looking at others, and you will follow orders instantly. Understand?”
“Yes, Master Ford.”
“Good girl. What is your safe word?”
“Red, Sir. Red to stop, yellow to pause and talk, green to go ahead.”
