“You have been our pillar of strength the last few months, especially the last week. This is our way of showing you that we appreciate everything you have done. Not just recently, but ever since we met you,” Jason smiles. Looking at the four of them, my eyes start to burn.
“You’ve done more for me,” I point out, but Sean steps around and shakes his head.
“Princess, you made me realise last night that there are four of us to look after you, but you look after all four of us, and we know that’s no easy task.”
“It’s really not,” I giggle, crying a few happy tears.
“So, take the girls and have a relaxing day and night, and we will see you tomorrow at the altar,” Christian smiles, stepping forward. “Danielle is more than happy to drag you out, kicking and screaming, if she has to,” he adds, glancing over at her. She gives me a little finger wave.
“Okay, let me go and pack,” I announce excitedly, but as I turn to leave, Jason grabs my hand and pulls me back.
“It’s all done. Your suitcase is in the car with everything the girls said you need. You don’t need much as a makeup artist and hairdresser will arrive at the hotel in the morning as previously arranged.”
“Really?” I ask, looking around at the four of them before me. All are smiling as they nod.
“Really. Now go on; Layton is waiting in the car. Verity has full control for the next twenty-eight hours until the wedding. What she says goes.” Maximus says, looking to Verity and then back to me, seeming a little scared. “She’s gone into scary mode, Shorty, so good luck.”
Jumping forward, I throw my arms around him tightly.
“Will you save me if she gets too bossy?” I whisper in his ear before letting go.
“You know I will always save you,” he winks before stepping back so I can hug the others before leaving.
“Have a lovely time, relax and get pampered. There is nothing left to worry about.” Jason hugs me before kissing my lips.
“Look after them for me?” I whisper into his ear as I hold him tight once more before letting go.
“Always,” he smiles, and I feel a little better, leaving them all after everything in the last few weeks.
Sean pulls me into his arms as I hold him tight.
“See, I was the last to fuck you before you became an official O’Reilly,” he smirks as the others sigh dramatically.
“Trust me, the whole house knows it,” Maximus sighs. “You two were anything but quiet.”
“Hey, at least it was in our room, unlike some!” Sean looks at Christian as I bury my face into his chest.
“Wasn’t my fault she ran. The stairs just happened to be where I caught her,” he shrugs, grabbing my hand and pulling me from Sean so he can kiss me passionately whilst tipping me back.
When he looks into my eyes, there’s a sparkle in them that I haven’t seen for a while. I hope this means he is finally relaxing enough to start looking out for himself, not just us.
“You look happier,” I whisper without meaning to. Christian's smile drops for a moment as his eyes widen, but just as I’m about to apologise, he places me back upright and takes my face in his hands.
“How could I not be? We are all okay for now, and tomorrow, I get to marry the love of my life with my brothers standing beside me. What more could I want?”
“Sex,” Maximus offers with a shrug.
“A blow job,” Sean adds
“Jazzy going a whole day without causing trouble,” Jason suggests.
“Jaz going a fullhourwithout getting into trouble.” Terry pipes in.
“I’m not that bad!” I protest as the girls laugh from their seats. Sticking my bottom lip out, I turn to Christian. “Tell them, Daddy.” I flutter my eyelashes at him. Christian tips me back again and kisses me until I’m breathless.
“You are perfect just the way you are, brat and all.” He straightens us up before releasing his hold on my waist. “Now go, some of us have a wedding to organise.” He slaps my ass playfully as the girls jump up and start dragging me out of the sitting room.
“Wait, the puppy!” I call.
