How something so wrong can feel so right will forever be a mystery to me…
Collins continues his onslaught, sending a cacophony of sensations through my body, with both his words and his intentional touches. The combination wreaks havoc on my nervous system and whatever mental capacity I have left.
I thrust my hips upward, wrapping my legs around his waist, trying to get closer to him.
The friction of my panties and my jean shorts coupled with the pressure from Collins’s leg nearly tips me over the edge.
“More,” I beg—for what in particular I’m not sure. “I need something…”
But he knows and has the audacity to chuckle at me. “Okay, time to go?”
“Where? To subspace?”
He shakes his head at me. “We’re going to be late.”
“I don’t care.”
He pulls me up reluctantly from the couch. “Come.”
“That is exactly what I didn’t get to do.” My lips pout and my feet stomp. He’s going to make me lose it. “Quit smirking at me.”
I follow Collins into the kitchen, hot on his trail. Why is he voluntarily leaving me in a state of need? I’m going to combust.
He puts the lid on my flag cake and then places it into the quilted carrier that is layered with ice packs for transport.
“Got everything?”
I give it a few seconds of thought. “No, I need to pack a bag with some swim gear, and I need to change.”
Collins nods. “Well, get on with it.”
“Can we have car sex? If so, I will dress inappropriately.”
“No, Penelope.”
* * *
“We really aren’t having car sex, are we?”
Collins manages to keep a straight face and not wreck the vehicle. “No.”
“I knew I should have driven.”
His eyebrow lifts. “And where would you have taken us?”
“Oh, on the side of some dusty road so that I could take advantage of you in the bushes.”
He chuckles. “Sounds very romantic.”
I scrunch up my face like I just ate a rotten lemon. “Who needs romance?”
“Not me,” he laughs. “Not when the joys of being uncomfortable are at the forefront of your mind. That for sure would take precedence.”
“Well, you are making my current physical state uncomfortable! I knew I should have brought my toys for the long ride.”
“We are thirteen minutes away.”
“Quit gaslighting me!”
