Mason answered with his hips, the new position sending him even deeper, and Rain cried out in sheer bliss, the sound like music to Mason’s ears. Loud noises were not usually his cup of tea but Rain was special. His voice, his scent, his beauty, his very existence seemed attuned to Mason’s being, and he marveled at it. At having a muse of his own.

As the thrusts reached a peak Mason stopped, circling his hips, and one of Rain’s hands left the back of the sofa, wrapping around his own flushed and leaking cock.

“Nnnn, Ma-son, yeah, keep do-ing that.” Pumping fast, Rain swirled his pelvis in the opposite direction.

The friction and warmth around Mason were almost too much and he growled again, wanting to sink in even further, fill Rain completely, and capture his soul.

“I-I’m-” Rain jerked in the hold, his hair going taut as he came with a shout, massaging Mason’s cock with a rolling squeeze that dragged him along.

For most of Mason’s life, orgasm had been a rarity. Why would he masturbate when being behind a camera brought more satisfaction? That had been dashed once Rain had moved in. Now, Mason felt sated in the best way possible, especially as he came harder than he had the last time, filling the condom to the point that his limbs tingled and he thought he was going to pass out.

Rain squeezed around his dick again, and Mason jolted, trying to frown at Rain’s chuckle but it wasn’t possible, not after that orgasm. To be honest, he felt kind of good.

And then his right calf seared with pain.

Making a concerning sound, Mason pulled away from Rain, furiously shaking his leg.

“What’s going on?” Rain turned slowly, his ponytail askew.

“Mouse is climbing me.” Why did she think he was a ladder? Leaning down, he pulled her free, wincing at the additional agony while she mewed in protest. Mason rarely found things adorable but he would protect this kitten with his life, so he only staredhardat her as she mewed again in his face.

“Too late girl, I already did that!” Rain giggled, staggering once he stood upright. “Wow, Mason, you reallywerehiding a weapon in those pants.”

“I wasn’t hiding it.” Mason didn’t understand why Rain’s giggles increased as he tottered into the kitchen to wash his hands before taking Mouse and setting her down.

It was odd having someone and their pet in his space, not that Rain was in it often. He seemed to work a lot, and sleep a lot, which meant that Mason still had consistent quiet, and he liked that. But when Rain was awake and around his presence was both soothing and seductive, and Mason surprised himself by how quickly he’d adapted to sharing his bed with RainandMouse, who clawed her way onto the blanket every night, curling up next to Mason whether Rain was there or not.

Tossing away the condom, Mason watched as Mouse strutted over to the door upstairs, where she plopped down and started begging. Too small to be wandering freely, she’d been regulated to the apartment but she always wanted more in life and consistently nagged them to let her explore.

“You’re being bad right now, babygirl.” Picking up his robe, Rain slid it on and then wagged his finger at her. Mason’s lips quirked.

“Can you model today?” Moving in and work had delayed their first session and Mason’s brain felt heavy, full. This would be a good chance to parse it and unload some of the piling ideas.

“Yeah, I just need to clean up.” His gaze traveled south. “And you should probably take care of that. Sorry.”

Looking down, Mason donned his perpetual frown as blood trickled from a few small puncture wounds in his leg.

“It’s okay.” Next time he’d put Mouse in a separate room.

Once Mason washed up and bandaged his calf, he grabbed his Pentax from the bedroom and Rain followed.

“What should I wear?” he asked, the gauzy white fabric of his robe hugging him in ways that made him both angelic and downright devilish.

“That’s good.” Turning away so he wouldn’t get distracted again, Mason adjusted a few settings on the camera. “Let’s use the studio.”

Rain blinked. “The what?”

Three doors sat at the back of the main room, and Mason opened the middle one. In preparation, Mason had already set up a backdrop along with a few lights and he’d dragged a chaise lounge from the prop pile into the middle of the room. Its deep mulberry color would complement Rain perfectly.

Browsing the shelves of equipment that lined the walls, Mason took his time selecting a few things, letting Rain look around.

“Wow,” he breathed, glancing behind the backdrop. “I had no idea this room was here.”

“That’s because I didn’t show you.” Gathering his choices, Mason kept an eye on Rain, who ran his fingers along the top of the desk, staring at the computer.

“You have a crazy setup.” Approaching, he looked over Mason’s shoulder, watching him attach a lens. “Can I ask you a question?”

Letting out a grunt, Mason switched on one of the cameras, hoping that Rain didn’t get too personal.
