Blaze sat up, scooting closer on the bed. Gently rubbing my back, he said, “That’s smart. You know we’ll be here with you every step of the way.”

“I know.” I nodded, leaning into his soothing touch.

Daire shocked me by saying, “Maybe you shouldn’t be with us. We’ve done nothing but turn your life upside down. We’re a curse on you, Angel, and you deserve better.”

All three of us gaped at him. His words incited a brand new panic inside me.

“What are you saying, Daire?” My voice quivered. “You don’t want to be with me?”

“What the fuck, Daire?” Cash came to sit on my other side.

Daire still sat on the floor in front of the mini fridge. Pain shone in his green eyes. “We bring nothing but danger to you, Clover. When I think about the things you’ve been through because of us, it makes me hate myself. I can’t help but wonder how long it will be until you grow to hate us too.”

I sat stiffly between Blaze and Cash. “I don’t think I like where this conversation is going.”

“Me neither,” Blaze said, eyeing Daire like he might punch him in the face. “What the hell is going on, Daire?”

Setting down the vodka bottle, Daire moved to sit in front of me on the floor. Taking my hand, he clutched it between his.

“I was willing to die for you tonight,” he began. “I love you too much to put you in a position like that again. It kills me to say this, but I think you’re better off without us, Clover. I think it’s time for us to set you free.”

Cash swore while Blaze sat there in stunned silence. My heart ached at the thought of being without them. And yet, everything Daire had said was true. They were the reason I’d encountered so much danger. They had dragged me into their world and it had come at a price.

I peered into Daire’s eyes, finding them filled with agony. He didn’t want this. He felt that he was doing the right thing.

My vision blurred as my eyes pooled with tears. “Is that what you all really want? Be honest with me.”

“Fuck no,” Blaze blurted. “I don’t want that. I want you, Clover.”

“I don’t want to let you go either,” Cash said, turning on the bed to better face me. “However, I understand what Daire is saying. If you decide that life with us isn’t worth the risk, I’d understand. I want what’s best for you, Sunshine.”

I appreciated his honesty, knowing it came from a place of concern. Cash had a good heart. They’d all shown me a deeper side of them. This very conversation was proof of how much I meant to the Angels.

Pinning Daire with an expectant stare, I raised a brow. “And you?”

He swallowed hard, his gaze briefly darting away before flicking back to my face. “No, that’s not what I want. I want you, Angel. Only you. Always.”

I touched the side of his face, my thumb tracing the small lightning bolt tattooed beneath his eye. “Then don’t ever say something like that again. I belong here, with all of you. No part of me wants to be anywhere else.”

Feeling possessive of my men, I grabbed Daire by the throat, pulling him in for a kiss. I understood his intent in trying to set me free. The thing was that I didn’t want to be free. I wanted to belong to them and only them.

I kissed Daire with an intensity that seemed to surprise him. There was a moment of hesitation before he kissed me back, taking my mouth with a wild passion. Slowly, he rose from the floor, pushing me back down on the bed. Prying my hand from his throat, Daire caught the other as well, pinning both to the bed above my head.

“That was the only chance I’ll ever give you to be free of us, Angel,” Daire murmured against my lips. “I’ll spend the rest of my life making sure you never regret your decision to stay.”

“You better.” Straining against his hold, I leaned up to catch his lip between my teeth. I bit down hard enough to make him groan.

Cash and Blaze quickly got on board with the sudden turn of events. They stretched out on either side of me. Blaze plunged a hand into my hair while Cash ran a hand up my side. He palmed my breast, squeezing possessively.

Reaching to take my chin in his hand, Blaze turned my face toward him. He kissed me hard and deep, his tongue delving into my mouth. Simultaneously, Daire moved to nip my throat. Being trapped beneath him with the other two on each side of me felt like bliss.

Once Blaze released his claim on my mouth, Cash was there to seize it. Their kisses were wild and passionate yet also filled with yearning and need. Emotion drove every kiss and touch. We’d all come so dangerously close to losing one another tonight. It had changed something between us, powerfully deepening our bond.

Together the three of them stripped off my clothes. Daire immediately buried his face between my thighs. The hunger in the way he licked me sent shockwaves through my body. Since my hands were now free, I grasped his soft black hair. This moment felt surreal. Mere hours ago I thought we would never be together again. I would never take a moment of time with these men for granted.

Moving in unison, Blaze and Cash each pulled out their hard cocks and knelt next to my head. I happily grabbed hold of each gorgeous erection, guiding one to my mouth and then the other. I alternated between licking and sucking each of them. Their moans fueled me, encouraging me to suck them deeper with each switch from one to the other.

Between my legs Daire licked me closer to orgasm with every sweep of his tongue over my sensitive clit. My legs began to shake seconds before I came, coating Daire’s tongue with my desire.
