"You better believe it," he said, walking to the table to pour me a cup.
"Good morning," I said to Oscar and Neo.
"Yes," Oscar said with a grin that called to mind last night's fun. “Yes, it is.”
“It'll be better when you get your sweet ass over here," Neo said with a growl, setting aside his paper.
I crossed the room and rested a hand on his shoulder, preparing to plant a good-morning kiss on his cheek, but he had something else in mind and snaked his arms around my waist, pulling me into his lap.
"I woke up craving strawberries," he said, pushing aside my robe to suck on my tit.
I inhaled deeply, remembering the way he'd fished the strawberry out of my cunt and licked the juices off my body.
Fuck me.
I was sore and wet again anyway.
I grabbed a handful of his hair and tugged. "I'm going to need sustenance if you want more playtime.”
"Yeah, you fucking brute," Rock said, taking my hand and pulling me to my feet. He closed my robe chastely and led me to an empty chair around the table. “Besides, we need to give Willa her Valentine’s Day present.”
I blinked. “But… you already did that. The whole night was amazing. You gave me the dress and we had an amazing dinner with dessert, plus the night in this gorgeous suite. You even gave me a massage!”
Rock grinned. “It’s true, I am a great masseuse, but none of that was your actual Valentine’s Day present.”
Oscar stood and dug around in his duffel bag. He produced a manilla envelope tied with a red ribbon and crossed the room to the table.
“Sorry it’s not wrapped nicer,” he said, setting the envelope in front of me. “We thought about dressing it up, but it seemed silly.”
He kissed the top of my head and took one of the empty chairs.
“Open it, Jezebel,” Neo said. Normally, it would have sounded like an order, but this time, it sounded like something else.
What? I didn’t know, but I was suddenly nervous as fuck.
I didn’t bother untying the ribbon. I went straight for the tiny metal clasp and the sealed flap.
I peered inside, half expecting something besides a sheaf of papers even though that was exactly what it felt like.
I pulled them out and scanned the first page, trying to make sense of what I was seeing.
… the sum of $500,000 transferred to account #MJL986272H in the name of Willa Russo effective February 14th…
I shook my head. “I don’t get it. What is this? You’re giving me… money?”
“We’re giving you freedom.” Neo’s voice sounded funny. Thick and hoarse.
“We want you to have options when this is all over, tiger,” Oscar said, his dark eyes filled with emotion.
“You… want me to leave,” I said, wondering why tears were stinging my eyes.
Rock crouched next to me and reached for my hand. “That’s not what we’re saying, kitten.”
“This money means you can start over however you want,” Rock said gently.
The tears spilled from my eyes, because now I understood: they didn’t want me to stay because I had to.
They wanted me to have a choice.
