She looks at the fountain for a moment.

CECILIA

Should we make a wish?

CONNOR

Ah, but it’s three wishes.

CECILIA

Three?

He takes out a handful of COINS and sorts out three.

CONNOR

The legend goes like this. The first coin means you’ll return to Rome, the second means a romance, and the third a wedding.

CECILIA

Oh.

CONNOR

You’re disappointed?

CECILIA

In America, we get to choose our wishes.

CONNOR

You’d wish for something different?

CECILIA

I can’t tell you or it won’t come true.

Connor smiles and hands her the coins.

CONNOR

It’s your decision.

She takes them, letting his hand close over hers for a moment, then releasing it. She walks to the fountain.

CONNOR

Turn around.

CECILIA
