Page 64 of Sutton's Shadow

“Don’t need foreplay. Just need you. Inside me. Now.”

Together, they removed the rest of their clothes... mostly. Her panties were hanging from one leg, but Sutton didn’t care. Especially when he plunged inside her. Then she forgot all about the errant clothing item... and her own name. She was lost in sensations. Loving the feel of him gliding in and out of her slick entrance. Her body welcomed him, opening to accommodate his hard length.

She moaned and rocked her hips up to meet him, prompting him to pick up his pace. He slammed into her with hard, jerky motions, and she felt so full of him.

The place where they were joined was a hot, swollen ache, throbbing with the need for some sort of release. Her heart thumped hard behind her ribs in time with his thrusts.

Her whole body tingled as she attempted to follow the wandering track of his lips against her heated skin. He licked, nibbled, flicked, and stroked, ramping up the flames thrashing at her nerve endings.

He lifted and peered down at her. He looked how she felt?absolutely ravaged by pleasure and wanting to savor each and every sensation. He was breathing hard, his pupils wide, the irises so dark she couldn’t see where one ended and the other began.

With a few more wild slams into her, she erupted in a blinding climax, shattering into a thousand pieces. A few seconds later, her name a harsh groan on his lips, his body stiffened, and he emptied himself inside her.

Struggling to catch her breath, she didn’t know how much time had passed as they lay locked together. Finally, Wyatt shifted to her side, a moan hissing from them both as he slipped out of her body. He skimmed a hand from her stomach, over her breast, until he cupped her cheek. She turned to kiss him, loving the absolute contentment she experienced in his arms.

He lifted his head, his thumb brushing over her lips. Something softened in his eyes as he stared down at her. An unnamed emotion her battered heart was afraid to recognize. But then he glanced past her and groaned.

“I’m sorry, baby. I gotta go.”

“Okay.”

He leaned over and kissed her again, his tongue diving deep. He kept kissing her, and she rolled into him, pressing herself against the hard planes of his chest. Her hand plunged into his hair, and she threw a leg over his. His hands slid to her ass, and she gripped the strands of hair between her fingers harder as he pulled her lower body closer.

God, she couldn’t get enough of him. She couldn’t remember ever being this utterly addicted to the passion Wyatt generated with just one kiss. Not even with Liam. They’d had passion, but she wouldn’t call it off the charts by comparison to what she was feeling with Wyatt.

“Shit, babe,” Wyatt hissed after breaking the kiss. “I would love nothing more than to sink back into you, but I really gotta go.”

“I know.” She rolled to her back and stretched, arching her spine. Wyatt groaned, and she smiled.

“Little minx,” he mumbled, getting to his feet. Sutton rolled to her stomach and watched him enter her bathroom. The man was a pleasure to observe. The taut globes of his ass tempted her to take a bite. The muscles in his wide shoulders flexed as he shot a hand through his hair, which did nothing to tame the errant locks.

When he came back out, she propped her chin up on her arms and watched him get dressed. “Enjoying the show?” he asked.

“Mm-hmm,” she moaned. Then she remembered there had been a specific reason for his visit. “Oh, shit. You wanted to talk about Bethany.”

He smiled as he zipped up his jeans. “I did. I was just hoping I could get you to talk to her. See if you can get her to open up.”

Sutton climbed out of bed and grabbed her robe from her closet. “You know you don’t even have to ask. I’d be happy to. Is there something specific you’re worried about?”

“She just seems to be shutting down. Not sleeping. Barely eating. I’m worried.”

“Okay. I’ll see what I can get out of her.”

She followed him into her living room, where he paused, having spotted her computer. “We still need to deal with that.”

“I know,” she mumbled, unsure if she could face it again.

As if he sensed her trepidation, he turned to her and grasped her hips. “You’re not alone anymore. We can face it together. Okay?”

She nodded, unable to find the words as emotions clogged her throat.

“Come over for dinner tonight. Bring the SD card. We’ll kill two birds with one stone. You can talk to Bethany, and I’ll see what can be done with those pictures.”

She nodded again, feeling like a bobblehead. He lifted her chin with a light touch of his fingers. “It’s gonna be all right,” he assured. “I promise.”

“Okay,” she forced out, her voice a rasp as she pushed the word out past the lump. He searched her eyes, for what, she had no idea, before he leaned down to kiss her again.

“I’ll see you later.”
