Page 51 of Always Been Yours

Next comes a baby in a baby carriage! (ew)

Hudson

You forgot the part about kissing.

Lexi

Who cares about kissing when there’s fucking?

You’re worse than my 7y.o. students

Calypso

What are you wearing tonight?

Asher

You can’t ignore us I’ll drive to your house with a camera

Lexi

Omg the homecoming photos they never got to take!!

If you show up to my house, I will take eggs to each of your cars. Don’t tempt me.

Hudson

Leave her alone. Viv, have fun and try not to eat the poor man’s heart out.

Asher

Yeah be nice to the guy

I think he’s excited about getting to “take” you to homecoming

Lexi

The little green dress you bought makes your boobs look *chefs kiss*

Like two fluffy clouds I wouldn’t mind getting lost in

Calypso

Wear protection.

I’ve been staring at myself in the mirror for fifteen minutes now, but I can’t look away.

I love this dress, but I picked it out before I knew Grady was also chaperoning the homecoming dance. And before he asked if he could give me a ride tonight.

I said yes, even though my mind instantly had gone to a different type ofride.

But now, I’m standing in this green floral dress, feeling both beautiful and nostalgic. I doubt that Grady will remember the color dress I wore to my junior—his senior—prom but I do.

This dress is shorter, with a small slit up the thigh and bunches around my breasts before coming together in dainty bows on my shoulder. It’s a lighter shade of green than the emerald gown I wore to prom but the dark leaves in the pattern feel like they are mocking me and my memories.

The sound of the doorbell pulls me from my anxious thoughts but does nothing for my nervous system.

I make my way down the hall while putting my earrings in, opening the door without really looking and leaving it for him to follow me inside. “Let me just put my shoes on and we should be good to go.”
