“Been there,” Dez says. “Multiple times. Only stabbed him once.”
I think she’s joking, so I laugh.
Keller does not offer to let me ride his back to the movie theater. I whimper when the friendly host directs us to the farthest room, on the top floor.
“Don’t worry. There’s an elevator,” Dez assures me. “And the way your legs look are worth it.”
I’ll have to take her word for it.
Keller remains very close to me at all times, right behind me, as if blocking me from view as we order drinks and popcorn.
Amused, in the semi-privacy of the elevator we share with three strangers, I pretend to lift the hem of my skirt a little, barely moving it an inch.
His nostrils flare.
Oh, yes, he likesshowingme…on his terms. I stow that information away for later.
The movie’s been out for a while, so the theater’s mostly empty—likely why we were exiled to theater seventeen. There’s just a group of boys—older high school kids or fellow college underclassmen—tossing popcorn and jokes at each other in the back, and a solo girl close to the front.
I surprise myself by remembering her name. I guess that day was traumatic enough to help it stick. “Pen!” I call.
She practically jumps on her seat. “Oh!” she squints, either trying to see properly in the darkness or place my face. “I remember you.”
“You gave me a free sundae.” It occurred to me I likely didn’t have the presence of mind to properly thank her. “Thank you so much. It was a crappy day.”
“You lookmuchhappier,” she tells me.
I smile as we walk to our seats, in the middle row, halfway towards the back.
“She’s the chick from Lost the Plot, right?” Dez asks.
“Yeah, she was really nice to me.”
“We’ll have to give her a raise,” Markus replies. “She’s good people.”
I snort. “Do you guys own the entire town?”
Dez replies yes. Markus and Keller disagree.
“The founding families still own tons of it,” Markus grunts darkly, like it’s a deep personal wound.
“The Goltzes own about half of the riverside, and thirty percent of southie,” Keller explains. “Dad invests in most of it.”
I shake my head. “So, yes,” I sum up, in full agreement with Dez.
The ads soon start, followed by the trailers, and finally, the start of the movie.
I feel like I missed one or two movies in between, but it still pulls me in, as only Disney music and flash actions scenes can. It retains my full, eager focus. Right up until Keller pulls me onto his lap.
I don’t pay much attention at first, glad to be snuggling up. But then, he shifts, and flesh presses right at my entrance.
Oh.
I glance back at him urgently.
He and I both know I’m not one to keep silent. It was a struggle over the phone with Lily the other day, and that was only his mouth and fingers, not his actual cock. When he shoved it in my ass after a while, I had to put myself on silent.
Fuck.
