My Adrienne,

I couldn’t sleep again tonight. I was wandering through the apartment, going from room to room looking for you. Praying you were in one of them so that I could bring you back to our bed and hold you in my arms all night long. But you aren’t here. And you haven’t been for far too long.

I ended up downstairs on the sofa and I saw the photo album from our honeymoon laying on the shelf under the coffee table. Looking through it was like being transported back to our cabana in Belize.

Waking up every morning, tangled up in the sheets and in your arms. Our front row view to the sunrise over the Caribbean. It was like waking up in heaven. Spending our days by the water, soaking up the sun, sailing on the catamaran, making love in the sea. Do you remember the day that we went snorkeling? Seeing all of the colorful fish and beautiful plant-life. Followed by cocktails and dancing on the party boat on the way back to our bungalow. Everything about the two weeks that we spent there was pure bliss.

When I get you back, I want to go there again. Maybe we will just leave everything behind and never come back.

With Love,

Your Marshall
