My Adrienne,

I’m beginning to doubt Owen’s loyalty.

For two months we’ve laid out a plan to rescue you. Travis has been looking into anything of Lock’s that he can find, which isn’t much. A bank account in the Cayman Islands that was closed out two years ago. A few redacted emails between him and Congressman Dawes. Nothing helpful and no record of travel plans anywhere.

Also, he swore up and down that Liza would be her ticket out of there, that Lock has no reason to think that she would be a threat. While he was, supposedly, out on assignment, Liza’s car had some sort of electronics malfunction. When she took her car into the shop, guess what they found, a tracker.

Then, out of the blue Lock changes his mind and cancels his business trip. It may be one huge coincidence, but it all seems really fishy to me. I don’t know where to go from here. This was the first solid plan that we’ve had in three years.

Don’t worry. I’m never going to give up on you.
