Beckett kisses my temple, then my forehead. “Good answer. I’m sorry I couldn’t come to town, Irish.”

“Hey, you’re busy. I get it. The boys didn’t mind giving me a ride. Now.” I snatch his hat off his head and settle it on mine. “I think we should get you inside and directly into the shower. You’re filthy.”

His slow and sexy smile makes my nipples harden.

“Is that right?”

“It is, Mr. Blackwell.”

“I might need some help reaching all the nooks and crannies.”

“I am a capable shower attendant,” I inform him, squeaking in surprise when he easily lifts me into his arms. Riley barks and hurries after us. “Why are you carrying me?”

“I have to dirty you up, too, Irish. It’s only fair.”

ChapterTwenty-Six

LEWIS A.K.A. THE ARSEHOLE

She’s inMontana?

Scowling, I stare at the photos on my screen. Surely, the love of my life, my tiny dancer, would never live in barbaric Montana.

It’s unthinkable.

It’s ridiculous.

But as I read the report, it seems that it’s true. My tiny dancer moved to Montana and opened a …dance school?

No.

I shake my head and sit back, staring in disbelief as I hit play on a video and watch my girl through the front windows of a building, teaching little brats to dance.

“She left me forthat?”

There are more images. Skyla in a bookstore, in a coffee shop, and buying groceries. But the next to last image has my blood boiling and the red haze of fury moving over my eyes.

She’s in the arms of that man from the charity dinner. She’s laughing and staring up at him like he hung the goddamn moon.

And in the very last image, he’s kissing her.

“No.”

I close the laptop and tap my fingers on it before I yank it up and throw it against the wall, breaking it in half.

After everything I’ve done for her, this is what she does? I stand and cross to the windows, shove my hands in my pockets, and stare outside.

It seems I’ll be going to Montana.

And my tiny dancer will pay for every mile she put between us. She’s going to pay for every minute I’ve been without her.

And that fucker who has his hands on her is going to die.

ChapterTwenty-Seven

SKYLA

“Ican’t believe it’s time for you to go to London already,” Erin Wild says as her little girl, Holly, twirls around my floor with her friends. “The past monthflewby.”
