“Please.” I don’t move when I say it, but so help me, if he doesn’t allow my release soon, I’ll scream.

“Oh, puppet. The things I’m going to make you beg for.” He huffs a small laugh, pausing all movement. But before I can screech my objections, he smiles. “Come for me, baby.”

He tugs my barbell and curls his finger simultaneously. My orgasm is instant, exploding in ten different places at once, pulsating in every muscle. His fingers don’t stop, plunging in and out, prolonging my release as my walls squeeze around him.

I take heavy gulps of air as my body comes down, enjoying the thrumming vibrating through me. I don’t begin to try and wrap my mind around anything, or ruin it with overanalyzing. Instead, I bask in pure bliss, knowing that there is nothing to pick apart.

He slips his hand out, and a light gasp spills from my lips. But before I can dwell on the loss of him, he gently sucks each of his fingers. One by painstaking one.

The sight makes my center clench again, missing him already. It’s something I’ve only ever read about, and it issomuch hotter than I imagined.

He snakes a hand around my back, helping me lean up slowly before bending to grab my leggings. I reach out for them, but he nudges my hand away, his left brow raising.

“I thought you said you knew my preferences?”

Heat coasts across my face. It’s true I have a general idea of the types of things he might like. His demeanor is one of many I’ve read about in some of my books with dominant males, but I’m not completely sure to what extent.

He shakes his head, a ghost of a smirk on his lips. Taking one of my ankles, he slips my leg through the legging, then the other. He pulls them up halfway before I hop off the bike, standing to let him tug them on the rest of the way.

Shivers run up my spine as his hands rest at my hips.

“I know how to put on my pants,” I whisper, failing at keeping the lust from lining my words.

“Hmmmm. But I like…” He stops, his eyes bouncing between mine. He wants to say something, but whatever it is, is lost when his lips press to mine.

Like before, this kiss isn’t gentle. It’s possessive and deep, driving our bodies together in a never-ending dual. My taste on his tongue coaxes me to moan in his mouth, and he yanks me somehow closer, tugging the tips of my hair resting on my shoulder.

Everything about it is powerful and breathtaking.

A kiss you give when you know you’ll never do it again.

But here’s the thing. It won’t be the last. No matter what he may say, or even think about feelings and emotions, his body screams something else entirely. He wants this.

He wantsme.

“Puppet?” He backs his mouth away but leans his forehead against mine. “You have no idea what you’ve just started.”

I can’t help the laugh that bubbles up my throat. “If I remember correctly, youkissedme, first.”

A sharp pop rings out, followed by a sting on my butt before I realize he smacked it, making my clit throb all over again. “Really?”

He nods, but rubs the area with his palm. “Was that too hard?”

If it weren’t for our faces touching, I’d keel over from laughter. One, because it might grant another slap on the rear, but also because it was more surprising than painful. Instead, I bite into my lip and shake my head, realizing its truth as I say it. “It wasn’t hard enough.”

Blaze tenses, his eyes narrowing as he furrows his brows. “You are dangerous.”

I giggle again but this time at the irony, rising on my toes and planting a chaste kiss on his lips. It’s as if I’ve done it a thousand times, causing a bundle of butterflies to erupt in my stomach.

Itfeelsright.

“Are you ready to come inside?”

“Yes, sir.” I peek through my lashes at his hooded gaze. Goose bumps prickle along my arms while I wait for his reaction, anticipation coiling in my stomach making it flip.

He takes a step back, turning to face the back door to his apartment, one hand held out for me. “Noted.”

Just one word, but I feel like he’s said it a thousand times, and the effect is immediate, creating a new dampness between my thighs. I don’t know exactly what he means, but it sure as heck sounds like a promise.
