Kind of like the men themselves, he was finding.

While Connie tried kissing him, Hudson was working his shirt off. Kit happily cooperated, and his shirt disappeared somewhere behind them. They’d barely entered the bedroom before Hudson started on Kit’s pants.

Someone slammed the door behind them.

Since the goal seemed to be relieving each other of clothes, Kit got with the program. He pulled Connie’s shirt off, which was kind of hard to do while Connie was attempting to stick his tongue down Kit’s throat. But hey, he was nothing if not persistent. Still, Kit started giggling at the silliness of it all, and Connie joined in.

“What’s so funny?” Hudson asked, finally unbuttoning Kit’s pants.

“Sorry, sorry. Nothing’s funny really. But trying to kiss, walk, and undress may end up with me on the floor.” Kit turned to Hudson. He made grabby hands at Hudson’s shirt. “Off. Off. Too many clothes.”

“Gladly.” Hudson paused long enough to strip off his shirt. “But if we end up on the floor, it will be deliberate.”

Kit shivered. The promise in Hudson’s voice thrilled him.

“But you’re right. Let’s take a second and undress,” Hudson said.

Kit stared at the lovely red hair on Hudson’s chest.

“Now, babe.”

Kit blinked. He’d heard Hudson call Connie sweetheart earlier. Had he just earned a pet name?

“Babe?”

Hudson stopped unbuttoning his pants. “Is that okay?”

“It’s more than okay. It’s just that I’ve never had a pet name before.”

Connie pressed a kiss to Kit’s bare shoulder. “Well, you do now, babe.”

A little flutter started in Kit’s stomach that arrowed straight to his chest, and the bond pulsated happily. He had a pet name. “Can I call Connie sweetheart too, or would that be—”

“I don’t mind if you use that,” Hudson said, briefly rubbing his chest.

“We need to figure out a name for Hudson,” Connie said. “But after.”

“After?” Kit asked.

“After we undress,” Connie whispered against Kit’s skin. “The sooner you do, the sooner we can—”

“On it!” At least Kit remembered to remove his shoes before trying to pull his pants down. The last thing he needed was to be hopping around Hudson’s bedroom with his legs stuck in his jeans. Nobody needed that mental image in their head.

While he did that, apparently Hudson or Connie had unmade the bed. He’d barely straightened before Hudson scooped him up and tossed him onto it. Kit bounced, then settled on his elbows.

The next thing he knew, Hudson was leaning over him on the bed.

“Jesus,” Kit mumbled, falling back. He hadn’t heard Hudson move. Just a second ago, he’d still been undressing.

His beautiful long hair fell around him. Kit wrapped a thick strand of it around his fist and jerked Hudson down. A low growl sounded as Hudson slammed his lips against Kit’s.

Kit battled Hudson for control of the kiss. He even nipped that full bottom lip of Hudson’s, and something hard pressed against his lips. Surprised, he pulled back.

“Is everything okay?” Hudson asked breathlessly, straightening up on his knees.

“Fine,” Kit gasped, sitting up. “But I felt something when we were kissing. I wasn’t sure—”

“Ah.” Hudson bared his teeth, then closed his mouth. “That?”
