“I love you too.” Daniel crossed the room, wrapped his arms around her neck from behind, and leaned down to plant a kiss on her cheek. “You’re a good mom.”

“Don’t make her cry!” Braden sang out, laughing aloud.

“You two stop it! I’m going to take my shower now.” Tanna turned to her younger son. “Max, do you have homework?”

“Yeah. I need help with it. I don’t understand it. And I want PEZ after that because I had appropriate interactions,” he pointed out.

“Tell you what. Get your homework done and you can have two packages of PEZ, one for dinner and one for homework. How’s that?” Tanna asked.

“Yes! Who’s going to help me?”

Braden lifted his hand. “I will.”

“Okay. Can we do it now?”

“I’ll take care of the kitchen,” Daniel offered.

Braden nodded. “Okay. And now you,” he said, pointing at Tanna. “Get in the shower.”

“Yes, sir!” As she passed him at the table, he reached out and whacked her on the backside. She gave a tiny jump and shrieked.

“Braden spanked you, Mom!” Max yelled with delight.

“She needs it sometimes, huh?” Braden asked the boy, and he nodded and laughed.

Tanna laid out her clean pajama pants and a tee on the bed, then reached for a bra and panties. After staring at all of it for a few seconds, she picked up the bra and put it back in the drawer. If it were just her and the boys there, she wouldn’t be wearing a bra. Braden told her to get comfortable. Well, if her big, floppy boobs weren’t appealing to him, that was just tough. He might as well get used to the sight and she’d know soon enough if he was turned off, she supposed. As far as she was concerned, it was “get real” time, and she was going to get real with him.

They spent the evening on the sofa with the boys, and the night in her bed and in each other’s arms. Tanna was on cloud nine. He spooned her from behind, and she knew that was no loaf of pumpernickel pressing up against the cleft of her ass. Nope, that was all man. Apparently her floppy boobs hadn’t scared him off either. Matter of fact, when his right arm draped over her, he palmed one breast in his hand and whispered into her ear, “Mine.” Suddenly, her belly felt heavy, she could feel everything between her legs going damp, and she could’ve sworn the temperature climbed by fifteen degrees in the little bedroom.God, I can’t wait for tomorrow night!she told herself. They’d be at Braden’s house for the weekend, and she hoped her dreams would come true.

Being made love to by a man that fine? It was every woman’s fantasy, and she just knew it would be as spectacular as she imagined.

“What color was that damn wrecker?” Beau asked.

“I think it was brown. We’ve seen every other wrecker in town. Where the hell was it from?” Wayne pondered aloud.

“I dunno, but we need to find out.” Beau poked around on his phone a little more. “Here’s three more. Pete’s Towing out off the I-65 spur, Townsend Recovery Service on Willamette Drive, and Charlie’s Wrecker Service over on MorgantownRoad.”

“Let’s start checking them out,” Wayne said as he started Quyen’s car again. “Ol’ DimSum’s gonna want his car back in a couple hours so we don’t have long.”

Pete’s was a wash. Their wreckers were bright blue, and Wayne was fairly certain what he’d seen was brown. When they got to Townsend’s, there were no trucks there, so they waited across the street. The first one that pulled in was yellow, so that was a wash.

“Well, looky here!” Wayne said as they pulled into a parking space across the street from Charlie’s. “Brown trucks!”

“Yeah, with yellow, white, and metallic gold trim. Was that what you saw?” Beau asked.

“Yep. That was it. Now to find out what they did with the car.” Wayne was already out and crossing the street by the time Beau caught up with him. A guy was walking from the building to one of the trucks, and Wayne called out, “Hey! Hey, you!”

The man was huge, burly, and intimidating as fuck. “What?”

“Hey, what do you do with cars you pick up?” Beau asked.

“Depends. Depends on who they belong to, where they were picked up, and what we have a contract for.” The man walked closer to Beau and Wayne. “Charlie’s the one who takes all that info, and he’s already gone for the day.”

Wayne reached into his pocket and took out a ten. “Could you look it up?” he asked, waving the bill.

“Put that shit away. Even if I wanted to, I couldn’t. I don’t know where he keeps any of that stuff.”
