VIVI
Despite being railroaded into going out with Luke and Travis, I find myself anticipating the afternoon. After changing into jeans and more comfortable shoes, I grab my coat and wait for Luke and Travis in the lobby. A few minutes later, they come out of the elevator, Travis all bundled up and ensconced in his stroller, a thick blanket thrown over him. We walk out of the hotel and down a few blocks to Macy’s. Once inside the store, Travis convinces Luke to let him out of the stroller, and the minute Luke takes him out, he starts to run around in women’s clothing, hiding in the clothes racks. After a few minutes of chasing him around, Luke puts him back in the stroller.
I find a dress, a short red number with a plunging neckline, which works perfectly with the shoes I have back at the hotel.
“I’m going to get this one,” I say to Luke, after modeling it for him outside of the dressing room. I liked the dress on the hanger, and it was on sale, but seeing the hungry look in his eyes as I modeled it for him was the deciding factor.
“Good choice. Let me hold it for you while you change.”
After taking off the dress, I crack the dressing door open and hand it to him. When I step out of the room a few minutes later, I find Luke and Travis gone. Once I make my way back to the middle of the floor, I find them at the cash register and the cashier is handing a garment bag to Luke.
“What are you doing?” I ask. “I have the gift card right here.”
“I paid.” Without another word, he pushes Travis towards the elevator. I run to catch up with them, and as we wait for the elevator, I hand him the gift card.
“Take it,” I say to him. He looks from the card to me and back again.
“Calm down, suffragette. I’m not taking that and there’s nothing you can do to make me take it. You ready for cookies, Trav?”
“Cookie!” Travis yells, clapping his mitten covered hands.
“You’ve been overruled. It’s cookie time.” When the elevator doors open, he ushers me in first and follows behind me. I don’t argue with him, knowing that I will just slide the gift card into his wallet later tonight.
After walking back to the hotel and depositing my dress in his room, we go back outside and take a long walk through downtown to Boston’s north end. It’s a crisp, cold day, but the sun is shining as we walk through the city. At some point, Luke throws an arm across my shoulders and pulls me closer to him. Liking the closeness, I put my arm around his waist, and he holds me close as we both push the stroller.
By the time we arrive at Mike’s Pastry, my cheeks are flushed and I’m ready to warm up. The place is crowded, but we find a table at the back of the bakery.
“Don’t tell my aunt, but I love this place,” I say as I take my gloves and hat off. “Their tiramisu is the best. I don’t know if I want a cappuccino or hot chocolate.”
CHAPTER 28
LUKE
Her cheeks have turned as pink as her lips as she talks. I don’t know if she realizes it, but she rubs her hands and licks her lips as she looks at the dessert case.
“Sit tight. I’ll go get us some stuff.” She starts to dig around her purse, probably looking for money to give me, but I take off before she can find it.
The line is long, but when I finally get to the front, I order a bunch of cookies for us and some to take back for Tristan and Emma. I also get an assortment of different desserts for me and Vivi, complete with two cappuccinos and three hot chocolates.
The first thing she does when I get to the table is take a cookie for Travis, then she grabs the tiramisu for herself.
“Oh my god,” she moans at about her third bite. I will my cock not to get hard at her moans.
“Good?” I ask, eyeing her dessert as I eat some of the cheesecake.
“So good,” she says. She puts a little piece on her fork and offers it to me. I return the favor by feeding her some of my cheesecake.
As Travis devours his cookies and hot chocolate, Vivienne and I share our desserts, eating from each other’s plates and feeding each other. As we eat, she laughs as Travis makes mess after mess. Without missing a beat, she wipes his hands and mouth, only for him to make a mess again a few minutes later.
She not only keeps Travis clean, but she also runs her hands through his blonde hair every few minutes. Unable to help myself, I put an index finger underneath her chin, turn her head towards me, and kiss her lips. It’s a soft kiss, nothing as passionate as what we shared last night, but I feel it in my soul. Her lips are soft against mine. She smells of coffee and chocolate. I breathe her in, open my mouth a fraction, and lick her lips. She opens her mouth too, and right in the middle of Mike’s Pastry, we kiss.
When she pulls away, her cheeks have pinkened. She looks around the room, and when her eyes find mine, she smiles. She goes back to the dessert, this time taking one of the cannolis. I can’t help my dirty thoughts as she sucks the cream from the hard shell. When she catches me looking at her, she blushes again.
I’m eager to get back to the hotel and drop off Travis, who has fallen asleep with a cookie in each hand. The party isn’t for a few more hours and seeing Vivi eat has given me all sorts of ideas. The first one, getting us both naked so I can have my second dessert of the day.
Unfortunately, luck is not on my side. As soon as we walk into the lobby, we run into Troy, Tracy, and my parents. When they see us, my dad gives me the same look Jake did earlier. He arches his eyebrows and smiles smugly. Instead of going back to my room as I had planned, my mother convinces Vivi to join her and Tracy for manicures while the guys hang out in Troy’s suite. As usual, Mom doesn’t give Vivi time to respond. She puts an arm around her and practically pulls her out of the hotel.
“Jake’s on his way back, so maybe we can just hang out with the kids before getting ready,” Troy says.
