Trevor rolled, shifting her onto her back. He propped himself up on one elbow and stared down at her in the dark. She could barely make out the features of his face, but he was smiling.

“You’re a minor miracle in my life,” he murmured. “You bring a bit of color to my world.”

“Just a bit? I’m a full-on, freaking rainbow.”

He laughed under his breath. “Have I ever told you I love your mouth?”

“As in my lips, teeth, and tongue, or as in my witty quips and snarky attitude?”

“Both.” He leaned down and kissed her, taking his time. His tongue swirled around hers lightly at first, and then with more purpose. He deepened the kiss until she was making impatient noises in the back of her throat. She pulled him closer, demanding more of him. She wanted more of his tongue. More of his passion. More of his desire…which tasted smoky and dark, as potent as the man himself.

She plunged her hands inside his coat and pushed it back over his shoulders. He helped, awkwardly lifting his free arm to pull it from the coat. He sat up, and she helped pull the coat off his other arm.

He unzipped her coat and opened it slowly, like he was unwrapping a present.

“You’re the kind who undoes the tape on his Christmas presents so as not to damage the paper, aren’t you?” she asked dryly.

He snorted. “Let me guess. You’re a rip-the-paper with wild abandon type.”

“The wilder the abandon the better.”

His chest hovering just above hers, he murmured, “Duly noted.”

They took turns undressing each other, zipped their sleeping bags together, and crawled inside.

“This is just like the tent forts I used to build as a kid,” she declared.

“Warm enough?” he murmured.

She stretched out across his chest, loving how the hair there caressed her bare skin. “I could stand to be a little warmer. Have you got something in mind?”

He laughed and quickly reversed their positions. The ease with which he flipped her was daunting. ”You do hold back when you wrestle with me, don’t you?” she accused.

“Maybe I did at first. But I promise, I’ve been going full out with you for the past six months or so.”

She harrumphed.

“Need me to prove it?” he murmured in her ear as he kissed the shell of it and trailed kisses down her neck.

“Yes. I do need you to go full out.”

He laughed against the base of her neck and kissed his way down to the valley between her breasts. “Your skin is so soft.”

She might have responded to that, but then his mouth closed on her nipple and all that came out of her mouth was a gasp.

His tongue circled the hard bud and she groaned in delight. He nipped just hard enough to make her gasp again and then licked and sucked until she arched up off the ground.

He said against her skin, “You’ll let me know if you don’t like something or don’t want to do something?”

“Yes. Of course. But do more of that.”

He chuckled. “Yep. Wild paper ripper to be sure.”

“You ain’t seen nothing yet, sailor.”

He raised up over her. “Oh yeah?”

“That’s right.” She wrapped her legs around his thighs and pulled him down to her in blatant invitation. Trevor planted his elbows on either side of her head and paused, his erection just touching her entrance, teasing and promising, but not delivering.
