My back straightened, shoving my chest into his as I ground my hips against him. I couldn't get enough of him, his touch, his taste, the feel of his body against mine.

I almost forgot we were outside, sitting beside the hotel's public pool. Trystan must have remembered at the same time I did because he broke from the kiss, releasing my jaw. Pulling back, we both sucked in a deep breath.

His arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me flush against him. "Come with me on tour," he blurted out, and my wide eyes dropped to meet his.

"What?" I narrowed my eyes, not sure I heard him right.

"I'm serious, Cam. Come with me."

Other than school and all my hobbies, I didn't really have anything tying me down here, but I also didn't really believe he meant it. He was high on both weed and arousal.

I opened my mouth, but he cut me off.

"Just think about it."

"Why don't we talk about this in the morning?" When he was sober.

Chapter 8

Trystan

Cam didn't think I was serious about her touring with me, and in some ways, I wasn't, but not for the reason she thought. Cam was still figuring herself out, and I thought asking her to follow my dreams instead of figuring out hers seemed selfish.

I was several years older than Cam, and there was a good possibility that we were in two very different places in our lives, but none of that changed the fact that I wanted her.

Considering neither of us brought it up before we said goodbye and headed home from Nashville the next morning, I figured we both knew she couldn't come with me.

It had been a few days since we'd gotten back, and I'd been avoiding Camryn.

Jerking open the fridge, I grabbed a bottle of water.

"Um, excuse me, sir," Syn teased. "Are you lost?"

"Funny." I smiled, turning to face her. Syn, short for Madisyn, was my only biological sister and the youngest of all the girls in the house, but you couldn't tell by looking at her. She'd dyed her long, dirty blonde hair black and was covered in tattoos and piercings. She was the shortest out of all of us, but her attitude made up for her size.

"Oh, Trystan." She laughed. "It's been so long, I didn't recognize you."

"I saw you the other night; what are you talking about?"

She shrugged. "Just messing with you." She leaned over the island between us. "So I heard you canceled your Atlanta gig to be with Camryn in Nashville."

There were a lot of great things about being part of a big family, but the rumors and gossip weren't one of them.

I rolled my eyes. "The gig in Atlanta was canceled, and I went to Nashville to hang with my brother and stepsister."

"And then threatened to kill someone for touching Cam." She raised her brows.

"She was drunk, and he was taking advantage of her. I would do the same thing for any of you."

"Fair enough, but for real, what's the deal with you two?"

"You're being nosey, little sis."

"It's kind of my thing, and you can't blame me. It's not like you to go all jealous boyfriend in public for just anyone."

"I would have done..."

"Yeah, yeah, I know." She waved me off. "So, are you and Cam a thing?"
