By the time we were all dressed and our feet hit Broadway, it was after eleven p.m.

"First round is on me," Owen said. "What does everyone want?"

"Surprise me," I said.

"I'll go with you." Cam smiled.

"I'll take a water," Kaia said, and everyone's heads snapped to her. "What? I'm the responsible one for the night."

Kaia and Cam weren't technically old enough to drink, but you'd be surprised what a low-cut top and a pair of cutoff shorts could do to a man, and Kaia's cutoffs made me want to stay in tonight.

"What's up, Kai?" Colton sang from behind us, and my jaw clenched. Kaia and I turned to see Hunt and his teammate Berkley strolling up to us.

"Colton." Kaia smiled. When he leaned in for a hug, his eyes locked on mine with a fuck you smirk plastered on his face, I thought my head might explode.

"Damn, girl," Colton said, his gaze raking over Kaia. "You are even hotter now than you were in high school." Kaia's cheeks flushed as a smile spread across her face.

"I'm Dexter Berkley," Colton's friend said, but the way he licked his lips as his gaze raked over her made my blood boil, not that she even noticed. Too bad he was wasting his time. She was mine, and she was leaving with me.

"Holy shit," Cam screamed. "Colton fucking Hunt."

"Camryn," Colton said, rushing and jumping into Colton's open arms. My lip curled into a snarl. I just wanted Colton to fuck off. Camryn lost her virginity to Colton when Colton was a senior and Cam was a sophomore. They broke up shortly after the event but remained close friends until graduation. "I thought I saw you at the game today. You should let me buy you a drink." And just like that, Colton had moved on from Kaia.

We met up with both teams and partied until we closed the bars down.

My phone buzzed, and I pulled it out of my pocket and narrowed my eyes at the screen, waiting for the fog in my vision to clear up.

Trystan: You still on Broadway?

Jaxtyn: Yes, but we closed the street down. Headed back to the hotel soon.

Trystan: Cam with you? She's not answering the phone.

Jaxtyn: Kind of...

Trystan: What does kind of mean?

Jaxtyn: It means there's a possibility she's crashing with Colton Hunt tonight.

Trystan: I'll be there in five.

I shoved my phone into my pocket and threw my arm around Kaia's shoulder.

"Did Cam spill the juice on what happened between her and Trystan the other night?" I asked Kaia as we stood off to the side while everyone said their goodbyes.

Kaia shrugged. "She said it was bad timing and said something about them revisiting the situation later."

"Trystan is on his way here to get her now," I said, and Kaia's eyes flashed up to meet mine.

"She's with Colton," Kaia said. "Should I tell her?"

"Nah." I smirked. "Let's see how this plays out." Trystan needed a taste of his own medicine. If he liked Cam, he should lay his claim and make her his. At least he didn't have that whole issue of being step-siblings. My gaze flicked over to where Cam and Colton stood side-by-side. Cam had about three drinks too many and was far past the legal limit. "I'll let Colton walk her back, but she's not staying with him anyway. She's too drunk to consent." And I hoped he knew that.

Our hotel was within walking distance of Broadway, and the Blackhawks were staying in the same hotel, but we were all on different floors. My team was on the 8th floor. Kaia and Cam were on the 6th floor, and the Blackhawks were on the 11th.

Security started to clear the streets, and all of us staggered our way toward the hotel. Cam stumbled, and Colton swooped in and threw her over his shoulder.
