It was perfect.
She tightened her legs around him, heels pressing into his ass and she tried to hold him inside as long as possible. They were so lost in each other that they didn’t notice the water slowly losing steam until it was suddenly barely warm.
Angel was getting most of the spray on his back, so he was aware of the change first and broke the long kiss, pulling back. “Uh-oh. I think this shower is about to get uncomfortable, chiquita.” He was already softening, and the movement was enough for him to slip from her body.
She hated that moment, when they became separate people again, but this time she was distracted. “What? Already? There’s no way,” she protested. She frowned as he attempted to set her down. She clung to his neck, refusing to straighten her legs. “It hasn’t been nearly that long yet.”
Rawhide Ranch had the best of everything. Even in the employee quarters things were top notch. Copious amounts of hot water was just one of the many perks. For them to be running out… meant they had to have been in there almost an hour.
How was that even possible?
“I have a feeling ithasbeen that long, and we need to hurry before it’s ice cold.” His voice was firm as he untangled her arms and put her down. “Move that cute butt of yours, Heaven Leigh, or you’ll freeze.”
She grumbled but couldn’t really argue as the water had continued to lose heat.
Angel grabbed a loofa and lathered it up. He didn’t wait for her to do anything but began scrubbing her front quickly and efficiently all the way down. Then he turned her around and did her back.
“I can do it myself, Daddy.” When she was feeling Little, she liked it when he washed her. It made her feel cared for, but she definitely wasn’t in that headspace at the moment. Sex tended to chase the younger mindset away, and he knew that.
It also wasn’t a slow erotic washing that the adult side of her could enjoy either. It was simply a fast scrub, as if she were a dirty counter that needed to be set right. But she had to admit she felt clean by the time he was done.
“I know you can, but I figured this was faster,” he said, laughing as he pushed a shampoo bottle into her hand. “Do your hair quick.”
She would have skipped the shampoo entirely, except her hair was already wet, and it would be impossible to do anything with if she didn’t give it the full treatment. She sighed and quickly lathered and rinsed while he scrubbed himself with the same efficiency he’d used on her.
His short hair didn’t need much attention at all, and she was still shivering and trying to rinse conditioner out of her hair, long after he was out and drying off. Conditioner and cold water didn’t mix well, and it seemed to take forever.
Her teeth were chattering and her skin felt icy by the time she shut off the taps and let Angel wrap her in a thick cotton towel. He pulled her into his arms, hugging her. “Your lips are blue, chiquita.”
“I b-believe it!” She felt like an icicle, but her Daddy’s arms helped a lot.
He sat down on the toilet seat lid and pulled her between his legs, so he could dry her off with the same briskness that he’d used to wash her. The towel scrubbed away the water while rubbing warmth back into her skin. He moved quickly, and by the time he was done, she felt much better.
“Thank you, Daddy.” She leaned down and pressed her forehead to his, letting her eyes close as she enjoyed a short moment of closeness with him. It was the last peaceful moment she would have for a while.
Angel left her to blow-dry her hair while he went to get dressed, but he was back at the door before she even plugged the hair dryer in. “Put some speed on, Heaven, our meeting is in fifteen minutes.”
“Fifteen?” she squealed. “Are you serious? We had almost two hours!” She stared at him in the mirror, eyes round.
“I told you we were in there longer than you thought.” He grinned. “Worth it though.”
She couldn’t argue that, but she hated to be late. Master Derek’s schedule was tight, and she was acutely aware that they’d also be holding up the contractor if they weren’t on time. She held the hairdryer with one hand and brushed her teeth with the other as she tried to speed run through getting ready.
There wasn’t even time for coffee, but while she was dressing, Angel filled two travel mugs for them so it wouldn’t go to waste. She was too anxious to take a sip, but she carried it with her like a comfort item as they headed to the office.
They were a few minutes late. Erika wasn’t at her desk, which wasn’t unusual, so they simply took a seat in the waiting area and assumed Master Derek would get them when he was ready. “I hope we didn’t miss him,” she said, fretting as she played with the coffee lid.
“We didn’t. He’s probably running late himself. Relax, chiquita.” His hand briefly covered hers, and a second later Master Derek’s office door swung open.
The owner of the Ranch gave them a wave. “Angel, Heaven Leigh, Come on in.”
Heaven jumped to her feet, nearly spilling her coffee, before Angel took it out of her hands and said, “Morning, Derek. We were a few minutes late. I hope we didn’t keep you waiting.”
“Not at all. Actually, I was just discussing some other projects with Craig, and we scheduled your meeting on the backend, so we’re just getting to your shop now.”
Master Derek stepped back and ushered them into his plush office. Craig was settled in one of the three comfortable leather guest chairs, and he stood up as they entered, smiling. “Morning,” he said as he held his hand out to shake Angel’s and then Heaven’s. “Excited to get things moving?”
“You have no idea.” Angel laughed.
