Page 128 of Three for a Girl

The heat of Romeo closed in, Chad breathed the smell of him, but daren’t reach or speak. He closed his eyes and waited an eternity for Romeo to move, and when the swoop came, it startled Chad, and he jumped, opening his mouth for his final gulp of oxygen.

Romeo gripped Chad’s chin hard and slotted their lips together as he flattened Chad to the door. His chest crushed the air from Chad’s lungs, and his mouth smothered until Chad weakened, and slid part way down the door.

He grunted, tangling tongues with Romeo.

Fingers clutched his face, cradled his head, slid into his hair. They were everywhere at once, never still, but frenzied, moving across Chad’s face, tilting him up, down, side to side, so Romeo could kiss all over before returning to his waiting mouth.

The sloppy need of this kiss had him groaning into Romeo, and he pressed back so hard his lips numbed, only registering the wetness and warmth of Romeo’s mouth. It wasn’t like Romeo to be so out of control, so messy with his movement and the affect it had on Chad was electric. He smiled into the kisses, chasing Romeo’s mouth with his own. when he gripped the back of Romeo’s neck and pulled him closer, Romeo moaned around his tongue.

Romeo eased his onslaught, and instead kissed the words thank you all over Chad’s face. He yanked him back up the door, and started on Chad’s neck, repeating the same words, sometimes in soft awe, and sometimes with a growl and sharp teeth. He ran his hands up the side of Chad’s face, soothing the nail marks Chad’s despair had pushed into his skin.

Chad lapped up all the attention, stretching out his neck for Romeo to caress with his lips and tongue. He dropped his arms by his sides, shifted, clutching onto the only thing available, and the door swung open.

He fell back, but Romeo caught him just in time, and pulled Chad into his chest. His eyes were still black as night, and as intense as when he’d killed Carter, but his lips moved into a smile and Chad smiled back.

Chad breathed in the smell of rain on the parched earth, like relief, and his eyes slid shut with his own. Something had given way within him, it had snapped beyond repair, but it didn’t hurt, or terrify him. It was a reawakening.

“I feel alive.”

Romeo chuckled. “Me too—”

“How can that make me feel alive?”

“It’s best not to question it, just let go and accept it.”

Chad nodded—he was, he had.

It didn’t scare him, it was almost wonderous, otherworldly, god-like.

“How’s the monster?”

Romeo licked his lips. “Good, real good, except…”

“Except?”

“He wants me to rip your clothes off.”

Romeo chuckled as he ducked forward, kissing Chad on the nose before his cheek, and then his lips. He was walked backwards out into the rain until it ran down his face, soaking his hair flat to his head. He kept marching Chad away from the outhouse until he knocked into something hard, and cold.

He glanced back at Carter’s gleaming car, even in the rain it sparkled. Chad sat on Carter’s motive, his precious cars made of cold metal, that were worth more than warm blood and bone.

Romeo skimmed his lips up Chad’s neck, finding his ear. “My damned detective.”

Chad pressed his cheek against Romeo’s. “As long as I’m damned with you.”

“All of us.”

He growled the words in time with the sky, and Chad grinned, brushing his face against Romeo’s, sighing at the cool of the rain and the heat of Romeo’s skin.

Refreshing, and stifling all at once.

Chad nipped Romeo’s earlobe before whispering, “My monster.”

Romeo shivered, nodding.

His fingers picked at the top of Chad’s pants, undoing him, and when a warm hand slipped inside and grabbed his cock, he cried out into Romeo’s neck. He jerked Chad’s cock, while kissing up the side of his face. The same over eagerness that left warm wetness on his face was washed away just as quickly by the rain.

Romeo worked him fast, as frenzied as their kissing, and Chad could feel how wet he was getting, all his excitement being wrung out of him by Romeo’s rubbing hand.
