When Adam looked up, he noticed Ben’s eyes widening as he glanced at the bed. Adam cleared his throat. “Why don’t we head downstairs?”
Ben and Jeremy both nodded vigorously and moved to the door. As they went downstairs, Ben reached over and squeezed Adam’s hand. “I’ll help, too. Anything,” Ben said to him.
Adam lifted Ben’s hand and kissed the back of it. “You already are.”

Friday Evening
Ben sat in his cubicle and let the silence sink in. The week had been insane but also amazing. Monday morning, he and Adam had walked into work holding hands after arriving together in Ben’s car and parking in the deck next to the building. Everyone had stared, but no one had said anything as they marched straight to HR. Adam had gone directly to the head of the department and announced they were dating before asking what they needed to do. Everyone had been immediately flustered, but they’d somehow managed to print out the necessary forms for the two of them to sign. Adam had walked him to his cubicle and squeezed his hand before going to his own office.
They’d slept at Ben’s every night, and despite their best efforts, Adam always had cat fur on him. He claimed not to mind, and Ben realized he actually believed him. Each night they fell into bed together, but they hadn’t had sex since Sunday. Ben loved waking up with Adam’s arm thrown over him and Latte curled up between their feet.
Footsteps brought him out of his thoughts, and he rose to see Adam finally heading his way. Adam smiled and drew him close for a soft kiss. “Amazed everyone left. Folks have been lingering this week to see us leaving together.”
Ben shrugged one shoulder. “It’s Friday, plus we’re old news now.”
Adam’s hand slid down over his ass. “Perhaps we should stop being so well-behaved then.” He grabbed Ben by the tie and dragged him back down the long hallway to his office.
Ben felt breathless before their lips even met, and he met Adam’s hunger with plenty of his own. Adam didn’t even bother to lock the door, pulling Ben to the desk and bending him over it, face down.
“Tell me about those fantasies,” Adam said as he reached around to undo Ben’s belt. “Am I rough with you? Do I tease you first?”
“You’re better than any fantasy. Do whatever you want with me,” Ben said as Adam freed his cock and then lowered his pants. Ben reached to the other side of the desk and gripped the edge as the cool air hit his skin.
“Don’t move,” Adam said, teasing one finger down Ben’s crack.
Ben craned his neck as Adam stepped back to shed his coat and loosen his tie. He also drew a small bottle out of his coat pocket. Ben smiled at him. “You planned this?”
Adam nodded. “Need this.”
Ben sighed as Adam prepared him. “So do I.”
Adam set the bottle aside, leaning over and kissing Ben’s cheek and neck. “You’ve been so perfect this week. I’d be climbing the walls otherwise.” He rubbed his cock along Ben’s crack, teasing his hole.
Ben arched a little bit. “Fill me, Adam. Please.”
Adam paused a moment, leaning down again. He ran his teeth over Ben’s earlobe. “My pleasure,” Adam said as he entered Ben.
Ben tightened his grip on the desk as Adam took him slowly. He trembled and sighed through his orgasm, the feel of Adam pressed close so perfect. Adam withdrew from him and feathered kisses over his cheek and neck again. “It was never that sweet in my fantasies. So tender.”
Adam helped him straighten up and then cupped his face in both hands. “I’m falling for you. But not because this week has been rough. Because you’ve been at my side, being so perfect, through this week. I want you and Latte to move in with me.”
Ben bit his lip. The fact he’d even mentioned Latte made Ben want to say yes, but he shook his head. “It’s too soon. I love being together every day, but it’s only been a week since we got together.”
Adam let his hands drop to Ben’s biceps. “But two weeks since we first kissed.”
“Still, it’s a big step.” He slid his arms around Adam to reassure him when he saw the hurt in his eyes. “And I do still work for you.”
“I don’t care. I know what I want. What I need.”
“And you have it. We’re almost never apart.”
“So what’s the difference?”
“What’s the difference? We still have our own space. Giving up my apartment … it’s too soon.”
“Do you think you could love me?”
