“Christ,” Carson gasped.
“Mmm, not quite. But I suppose you can call me that if you want.”
Carson let out a soft laugh as he turned his face into Zach’s for a kiss.
“I’m pretty sure you’re the devil instead, baby.”
Zach grinned as he caught that bottom lip in his teeth, drawing a groan from Carson.
“Now that, I have been accused of before. You can call me Zach if you want.”
There was no way he’d tell this man his name. They’d never see each other again after tonight, and Zach was decidedly against a stalker or giving anyone the ability to damage his livelihood. ZIM Tech was his life, his heart and soul, and it’d be a cold day in hell when he’d let some hot little piece of ass take that away. He’d heard Carson talking about programming with someone at the bar, and if he worked in a field like that, he’d definitely know the name Zachary McAllister.
“Mmm, that’ll sound much better for me to cry out as you pound into me.”
Zach tried to fight the laugh and failed.
“Such a mouth on you, Carson.”
“I’d rather have my mouth on you.”
“If that was your endgame you should have just said so, sweetheart.”
“But it’s so much more fun this way. Daddy.”
Zach covered Carson’s mouth with his hand and guided him backwards to the bed, laughing as they went.
“I can honestly say, you are the first person to call me that.”
Crinkles of amusement appeared at the corners of Carson’s grey-blue eyes as he smiled beneath Zach’s hand. One eyebrow cocked in question.
“Don’t keep doing that. It’s weird. I’m not that much older than you.”
Carson shrugged.
“You don’t need to be old to be a daddy. Just calling it like I see it. Sorry,” he said.
“No, you’re not.” He shoved Carson back onto the bed. “Strip,” he commanded as he began setting their purchases on the night stand.
“Okay, now you’re just giving me mixed signals.”
Zach facepalmed, shaking his head. This kid was growing on him in a hurry. He couldn’t afford to get attached to anyone, which was just one reason why he rarely dated. Random, anonymous hookups were the best way to protect everything he held dear—including his own heart.
“What am I going to do with you?” he murmured, covering Carson’s body with his.
“I’ve got a few ideas.”
Zach’s eyebrows climbed his forehead.
“Then get your goddamned clothes off.”
Carson scrambled to comply and pulled off his shirt as Zach unbuttoned his. The soft charcoal grey Henley had complemented Carson’s eyes nicely, and though it hadn’t been overly loose-fitting, it had certainly done a good job of hiding just how fit the man was. A trim waist, defined abs, and arms that had clearly seen their fair share of gym time were now on display before him. But it was his legs that did Zach in. Thighs so muscled and well-defined belonged on a statue in a museum, and he couldn’t wait to see how tightly they’d squeeze around his head and waist.
Unable to resist, he bent over and licked up a thigh from knee to hip.
“Look at these beauties. Fuck. These legs … oh my God,” he groaned, leaving teasing nips all over each thigh.
“I use one of those treadmill desks?” Carson supplied helpfully, phrasing it as a question to see if Zach knew what he meant.
