“Come on, there’s nothingin there.”

The other guards trudged out, andSebastian beamed a manic smile at them.

“Assholes,” hegrowled.

He still had his armaround Rory, and when he pulled it away, he dragged his hand along the back ofhis t-shirt. “Someone’s been working hard.”

“I was in the gym withCaptain.”

“Yeah, sorry I sent Damondown to interrupt, but I thought you’d wanna know about theguards.”

Sebastianstepped into the cell andwhistled at the mess. “Utter assholes. Looks like a bomb’s goneoff, doesn’t it?”

Rory froze, and stared wide-eyed atSebastian’s back.

He picked Rory’s mattress offthe floor and threw it on the top bunk. “But it’s not gonnasortitselfout.”

Rory started sorting through theclothes. He folded each item and placed it in the cabinet. Hecouldn’t look at Sebastian, and each time their bodies bumped, orbrushed, he shivered.

Sebastian’s hands lingered onRory as he seemingly steadied him while he squeezed past. At one point he cameup behind Rory and pressed his crotch to Rory’s ass as he put thepillow back on the top bunk. Pleasant chills ran the length ofRory’s body. He scrunched his toes, and flexed his hands to stopblood flowing to his cock.

They’d been sharing a cell for eightweeks, but they rarely stood up at the same time. Rory usuallywaited on the bed until Sebastian was done.

Sebastian placed his palm toRory’s chest and stopped him reaching for anymore clothes. He thought he’dbeen found out, thought Sebastian could smell hisarousal.

“Your heart’s going crazy.”

“I was doingweights.”

Sebastian frowned, then pressedthe back of his hand to Rory’s brow. “And you’re burning up. Captain betternot be working you too hard, you’re still not 100%after…”

“After?”

Sebastian slipped his hand under thebottom of Rory’s t-shirt, and he gasped. He closed his eyes when hefelt Sebastian’s thumb tracing his scar, no longer hidden under abandage, but pink, and slightly tender.

Sebastian took his hand away. “Sorry, Ididn’t mean to hurt you.”

“You didn’t.” Rorybreathed.

“You smell likesweat.”

Rory looked down at himself.“Sorry, I’llgo shower.”

“I didn’t mean it as a badthing.”

He grabbed his towel and rushed out ofthe cell.

****

Rory rested his head against thetiles and let the shower spray down his back. He rubbed his thumbalong his scar with the same ghosting pressure Sebastian had used.Sebastian was a monster. He’d murdered and done other horrendousthings.Things he’d gotten away with.

“Hey?”

He jumped at the voice andlooked over to Sebastian. He hooked his towel on the railing andwalked towards the showers. He didn’t use the one next toRory, butleft one in between them. He thumped the button on the wall, thenhissed as the water hit him. It ran down his muscles, through hisgrey hair, past his cheeks, over his lips.

Rory couldn’t breathe.

His heart began drumming, and his skintingled under the spray. He felt too hot and adjusted thetemperature on the wall.
