And the jackass didn’t let up on me for months about it either.
Doesn’t help that he mentioned Sienna has a crush on me a few nights ago when Ever made us dinner. Coop was shocked and questioned me a little bit about it, but I blew him off. Made it seem like it was more of a Sienna problem than my problem, which is total bullshit.
Denying my feelings as usual. I don’t know why I do this. Why I run away from emotions, especially when it comes to Sienna. I’m a complete dickhead.
“Come on, boys.” Ever claps her hands together. “Let’s get into position.”
I’m in the front row with Dollar, who watches everything Everleigh does with his rapt gaze. I glance over at the spot where Sienna was last time, remembering yet again how spectacular she looked in that tight pink set she was wearing. How big her tits were and the perfect curve of her ass.
“I’m surprised you’d show up,” Everleigh murmurs when she’s standing close to me at one point.
I frown. “What are you talking about? I’ve been here for your yoga classes all week.”
“And I’m still shocked you’re showing up when you should be talking to acertain someoneand telling her you’re sorry.” The pointed look she sends me has my balls clenching up.
Great. She’s been talking to Sienna too. Makes sense. The girls have been spending a lot of time together. I wonder how much she’s told Ever.
“What is she saying about me?”
“I’m not going to tell you.” Ever glances around, that braid smacking her cheek, her head moves so fast. “But you need to apologize to her.”
“Says who?”
“Me.” She jabs her thumb at her chest. “You were a clueless jerk a few nights ago, and you hurt her feelings. She has a crush on you, and you know it. I think you like having her as your fangirl, but if you’re not interested, you should let her know. She needs to move on from you, Gavin, especially if you’re not going to do anything about it.”
Everleigh’s words make me feel like shit. But they also make me realize that she doesn’t knoweverything. Meaning Sienna didn’t tell her about us having sex.
Huh.
“And I know you were just playing dumb. Seems like you always are. You’re not that oblivious, are you?” She lifts her brows, and she doesn’t even have to say what she’s referring to. Her unspoken words are loud and clear.
“No.” I sigh, stretching my arms above my head and making my spine crack. “No, I’m not.”
“Then stop being such a jerk and tell her you’re sorry, okay?” She sends me an imploring look. “And after that, tell her to stop wasting her time, because that’s what it looks like she’s doing, you know?”
I’m not about to say any of that to Sienna. “And when am I supposed to talk to her?”
“How about after our yoga session?” Ever rests her hands on her hips. “If you don’t go tell her you’re sorry, I’m not going to allow you to come to the next class.”
“Are you fucking for real right now?” I keep my tone light so I don’t sound too hostile, but damn. This woman is basically blackmailing me to apologize to Sienna.
“I am.” She lifts her chin, glaring at me. “And don’t you forget it.”
Women. They’re terrifying when they stick together.
Chapter SeventeenSienna
I’m sitting at our rickety old dining table with my laptop, trying to write an essay when the front door swings open so hard, I’m afraid it’s going to fall off the hinges.
“Hey,” Destiny mutters as she stomps inside and slams the door behind her.
I watch as she tosses her backpack on the floor and flops onto our equally rickety couch, which makes a loud creaking sound, thanks to the force of her body.
“Hello to you too,” I say slowly, almost afraid to ask, but I do it anyway. “What’s going on with you?”
“I broke up with Lizzie just now.” She crosses her arms in front of her, her entire face like a pout.
Carefully I shut my laptop because this declaration calls for my undivided attention. We might not talk a lot, but she’s been much more cheerful since getting with Lizzie. And now look at her. She’s obviously miserable. “Do you want to talk about it? What happened?”
