“Don’t worry, sweetheart. He’s fine. I’ve got both of you.”
And with a last flushed, shy glance at me, she dips her chin and stares at the floor.
She’s too perfect. So shy and sweet. I can smell her soft, sweet floral scent and it’s driving me crazy right now.
My dick needs a leash. It’s gonna take all my willpower to be a good boy until I win Livvy over. Until I make her mine. Claim her for my own. Forever.
Cold showers are in my future but I don’t give a damn. I’d do anything to make this woman mine.
These two are the start to a family I wasn’t sure I’d ever find and I’m not about to let them slip away from me.
“I hope that this is the start of a beautiful friendship, angel.”
Or something more. Much more.

LIVVY
Adam Redfern is a complete enigma. Big and rough-looking with all his tattoos. But yet so sweet and gentle with me and Sam that it’s almost scary how much he changes.
It’s been weeks and he’s taken us to restaurants, outside of town because he says he doesn’t want anyone to interrupt our dates. He’s taken us walking in the woods and taught Sam how to fish with the infinite patience I’ve come to expect from him. He’s been a perfect gentleman and it’s driving me crazy.
After all, it’s been almost eight years since I was with a man and I have never felt as turned on as I do when Adam flashes me his crooked smile with the dimple in the left cheek or gives me a wicked look out of his dark, honey-brown eyes.
Mrs. Madison is watching Sam tonight because Adam’s taking me dancing at a new bar a couple towns over. I’ve primped and scraped and shaved every inch of my body and I know what I’m hoping for even if I can’t say the words.
I want Adam Redfern in the worst way and it feels all kinds of wrong. I slept with his brother and had his baby. It should completely take anything off the table with him. But I can’t seem to tell my misbehaving body that. My clit throbs and my whole body is thrumming with anticipation.
And when he shows up? He’s wearing brown cowboy boots, his beaten-up brown leather jacket, a brown cowboy hat and jeans that cup his perfect ass like they were made just for him.
His brown eyes fire up with golden sparks when he sees me. “Wow,” he whispers. “You are gorgeous, angel. Like you just fell straight from heaven.”
Giggling, I let him take my hand as he usually does, tucking it into his arm. “You say the funniest things. It’s just a dress.” My favorite dress that swishes around my calves and twirls up to bare my thighs when I’m dancing. Yeah, I’ve got plans for tonight.
He stops and stares into my eyes, serious and solemn. “I’m serious as a heart attack, angel. You look perfect.”
I flush and duck my head when he holds the car door open for me. “Thank you.” I go to duck inside but he holds an arm across and stops me.
“I hope you realize that there’s more going on here than just Sam, angel. There’s something bigger going on between you and me. I’m being patient but you need to understand that I’m coming for you, angel. We’ve got a future together. All of us. I intend to claim you as mine. No matter how long it takes or how much I have to fight you to do it.”
Sucking in a sharp breath, I glance at him out of the corner of my eye and lick my lips, loving his low groan. “I’m not going to fight you at all, Adam. I want you. And if it’s just for one night, I’ll take it. I just want to be with you.”
He shakes his dark head and bends down until his soft lips whisper a breath away from mine. “No. It’s not one night. This is for all the nights, angel. You’d best understand that when I take you, claim you, it’s for always. Now and forever. We’re going to be a family. And one of these days, I’m going to put another baby in that belly and watch you grow round with my child.” His lips dance along mine, clinging softly as he whispers between kisses. “And then I’m going to put another child in that belly and another. As many as you’ll let me.”
“Oh…my,” I whimper, my whole body molten with desire. His long fingers trace my jawline and he runs his tongue along my ear, whispering all the dirty things he wants to do to me and fire erupts inside me, flaring into life like a four-alarm blaze.
I reach up and tentatively wrap my fingers in his gold button-down collar, tugging his closer. “Do you think we could skip the dancing, Adam?” I whisper, my cheeks flushing beet red.
His dark eyes search mine. “I don’t want to pressure you into anything, angel. I just wanted you to know what’s going to happen. I am being honest about my intentions. My hopes and dreams.”
I shake my head. “I want you. I don’t want to wait.”
His soft lips crash down on mine and it’s like a wave cresting over my head, sucking all the air out of my lungs and drowning me in desire. Gasping, I lean into him and answer him back kiss for kiss, tongue against tongue and lips nibbling on lips. He’s stealing my soul with each lick of his tongue along my bee-stung lips and I’m here for it.
His teeth bite down on my bottom lip gently, making me jump and moan. Then he strokes it with his tongue, soothing the brief sting.
“I want you spread out on a bed right this second, baby. I want to spend my time feasting on every part of you until you’re so strung out and sated that you can’t move.”
