“Get out of my head, Gracie,” Harper said with a grin.

“Wait… are you,” Kira stared at her in excitement, “are you ready to be in a relationship?”

“I was,” Harper emphasized the ‘was’, “until I moved back home. The options in Harmony Falls are limited.”

“That is so not true,” Kira said. “There are lots of eligible men in Harmony Falls.”

“Name one,” Harper said.

“Jesse,” Kira said.

“One, he’s way too muscular for me, and -”

“He’s a firefighter,” Kira said. “He needs those muscles to carry people heroically out of burning buildings.”

“And two - he’s in love with Gracie.”

“No, he isn’t,” Grace said. “He had a small crush on me for a brief time. What about Lucas?”

“Ooh, yeah!” Kira said. “Harper and Lucas would be the perfect couple.”

“Connor’s best friend? Addie said he also has a thing for Grace.” Harper grinned at Gracie. “How’s it feel to be the most sought after woman in Harmony Falls?”

Grace rolled her eyes. “That’s completely untrue, and you know it.”

“Nix is good looking and single, I think,” Addison said.

“Why is that name familiar?” Harper asked.

“He’s the new tattoo artist at Preacher’s shop. I told you about him a while ago. Preacher likes him a lot. They’ve started hanging out together outside of work,” Addison said.

“Right,” Harper said. “A tattooed badass does have potential.”

“There are a lot of new people in town because of the division of Stark Entertainment opening here in the Falls,” Kira said. “I swear, eighty-five percent of my new clients are Stark employees looking to buy a home.”

Kira looked around the busy pub. “We could probably find someone you’ve never even met tonight, Harper, right here at the Thirsty Beaver.”

“Maybe,” Harper said.

Grace eyed her closely before saying, “I think Harper’s already found the guy she’s interested in.”

“Who?” Kira said before looking around the pub again.

“Dr. Henshaw,” Grace said.

Harper snorted. “I’m sorry, were you listening at all the first forty minutes of dinner when I complained bitterly about that jerk?”

“I was,” Grace said. “He definitely has you all fired up.”

“Not in a good way,” Harper said.

“You sure about that?” Grace asked.

“Positive.”

When Grace, Kira, and Addie just stared at her, she huffed out a laugh. “Fine, I might be a little attracted to him. Damn you and your mind reading abilities, Gracie-Lou.”

“First - don’t call me Gracie-Lou, and second - I didn’t need to be a mind reader to know you think he’s hot. You mentioned his lips and his body about seventy-two times in the forty minutes.”
