“Th-thank you,” she said. “Are youenjoying the barbeque?”

“Hmm,” he said as he traced her throat withthe tip of his tongue. “What are you doing in here all by yourself?”

“Just going to wash my hands,” she said.

“I’ll come with you,” he said.

“That’s odd,” he said. “Why would you thinkthat?”

“Well, because…” laughter drifted throughthe open window of the bathroom and she tensed against him. “Everyone is justout there,” she whispered.

“Like I said, perfect time for lesson two.”

“Wh-what’s lesson two?”
