“You could put something right here,” he said.“I’ve got the perfect quote.”
“Oh yeah?” Her voice was a bit breathless.“What would it say?”
He stroked her skin again. “Preacher’spussy.”
She gaped at him before bursting intogiggles. “That is so cheesy.”
He laughed and she sat up and leaned overhim. He touched her silky hair, rubbing it between his fingers as she archedher eyebrows at him. “Do you try and brand every woman you have sex with, Mr.Preacher?”
His gaze dropped to the barbell in her rightnipple and she followed his gaze. “What?”
“Nothing,” he said. If she knew what the SWengraved in the barbell really meant, she’d freak out. Still, it wouldn’t stophim from doing the same thing when he pierced her other nipple.
She touched his forehead. “How often doyou get migraines?”
He shrugged. “Once a month, sometimesmore.”
“I’m sorry.”
“I’m sorry I showed up on your doorsteplike that,” he said. “Thanks for not telling me to fuck off and die, like Ideserved.”
She stroked his forehead again. “I wouldn’thave done that. Migraines are horrible and I’m glad I could help you.”
“Do you get migraines? Is that why youknew what to do?” he said.
“No, my mom suffers from them. I’ve done alot of research on migraines.”
He studied her for a few seconds beforesaying, “I’m sorry about Tuesday, I shouldn’t have -”
“Addison? You home, babe?”
She froze in the bed as Harrison’s voiceechoed down the hallway. Anger shot through him. “What the fuck is that prickdoing here?”
“I don’t know,” she said.
“How the hell did he even get in here?”
“I forgot to get his keys back from him,”she said as she threw back the covers. “Stay here. I’ll get rid of him.”
“Don’t let him touch you.”
“What?”
He sat up and put his arm around her waist, pulling her closer until their faces were only inches apart. “Don’t let himtouch you, Addison.”
“I won’t,” she said.
“Good.” He kissed her hard on the mouthbefore letting her go and relaxing on the bed. She touched her mouth asHarrison’s voice drifted down the hallway.
“Babe? Are you up?”
