They know the Stallions are the best New York team, even if they won this time.

When I see Kerian approaching me with a smug smile, I frown at him, rolling my eyes when I go to shake his hand. Instead of shaking, he pulls me in by my jersey, kissing me long and hard. I know we’re on television, the game broadcast across three stations, but I can’t help melting into him.

We’ve come full circle, Kerian and me. Kissing on a football field, for all the world to see.

This is what we both wanted. This is our dream—to play in the pros. But over time, my dream changed to include Kerian. I don’t know where my life would have been without him, and I’m glad I don’t have to find out. Kerian is mine, forever and for always. I’m never letting him go.

Just as I know he’ll never let me go.

Seriously, the man is a psycho. He won’t let me go for all the money and fame in the world.

Kerian breaks the kiss, smiling smugly at me. “That’ll make the papers.”

I bark a laugh and kiss him once more. “Good game, babe. I love you.”

“Love you right back.” He pulls me in closer and in my ear says, “And you’ll show me just how much tonight. I think the blue set is in order.” He points to his blue jersey, which is the same color as the lingerie set he bought me last weekend. I roll my eyes, but nod.

Yeah, the blue set will be perfect.
