He reached for the boxes and drinks.“I got you the spritzer, is that okay?”

“Yes.It goes good with the pizza.”Her eyes widened when she opened the box in front of her, and then she smiled.“You got my favorite.”

He tried to look offended.“Of course I did.I’m the best husband in the world.”

Riley smiled, reached out, and touched his cheek.“I agree one hundred percent.I couldn’t have found a better man.”

He snorted, lifted a piece of his pizza to his mouth, took a large bite, chewed, and swallowed.“Damn, I love this pizza.”

Her mouth was full, so she nodded.

They ate for a few minutes.She was the first one to groan and close the box of pizza in front of her.

“You didn’t eat very much,” he commented.

“I think I ate my usual.I want to take some for my lunch tomorrow.The other teachers will be so jealous.”

He snorted and finished.

“I can’t believe you can eat a whole pizza by yourself,” she said.

“Hey, I’m a growing boy.”

Riley rolled her eyes and started to move off the bed.“I’ll take everything down.”

“No, Wife.I will.I want to check the doors and the security system.Go ahead and brush your teeth.I’ll be back.”

She nodded and walked into the bathroom.
