Blandly, I retort, “I’m sky diving. What does it look like I’m doing?”

The twins snicker loudly, and I feel their amusement strumming through our bond, but I pay it no mind. Alek, undeterred by my bad mood, chuckles deeply before he squats down at my side, patting my thigh as he teases, “Well, well. Is my baby a little crabby today?”

I don’t answer, instead offering him an irritated glare as I finally push myself up to sitting and then stand, shucking his warm, large, strong hand from my skin, that single touch alone drawing out my perfume.

From his position, Alek grins up at me as he inhales, seemingly enjoying my prickly attitude and leaking scent, and I cross my arms over my chest before I ask, “Is there a reason you’ve all converged here while I’m… working out?”

I mean, I don’t know how long I was lying on the floor for, but I was definitely done working out more than fifteen minutes ago. I don’t mention that, though, since it’s very likely they already watched me for a while.

Looking away from Alek, doing my best to ignore the way I hear him inhale before a purr kicks up in his chest, I peer over at the others and raise my eyebrow, expecting an answer. Instead, they talk to one another while watching me.

“I told you she wasn’t in a good mood,” Mac confirms, shaking his head like he’s disappointed the others didn’t believehim. “We weren’t making it up after all, brother.”

“Sure doesn’t seem that way. But what would we know? We’ve been blocked from her emotions all day,” Ford notes, sighing as though he’s put out by it, his eyes sparkling with high doses of mischief.

Narrowing my eyes on them both, I open my mouth to respond but I’m beaten to the punch when Barnes chimes in. “She does look like she’s holding quite the grudge there. Any idea what could be causing it, Ford? Mac?”

“She’s standing right here if you’d care to ask her yourself,” I sass, crossing my arms over my chest even as I gradually begin to relax at the sound of Alek’s purr. The big Viking bastard knows what he’s doing, having used that purr to send me to sleep on countless occasions over the past two weeks, and I turn my glare back onto him, only to pause when I catch his hungry gaze as he licks his lip rather suggestively.

I’m obviously helpless to that kind of look coming from him or any of the others, and it’s really no surprise when I start perfuming a little more, my sweet scent growing thicker with banana, cream, and caramel.

The grin Alek was wearing before pales compared to the one that stretches over his face now, and he stands so suddenly that my head snaps up so I can keep glaring at him, his hands reaching for my hips as he drags me toward his hard, muscled body and says, “I think I have an idea why our little omega seems out of sorts.”

“Oh, you do?” Laz drawls, faking his surprise, and I roll my eyes once more, feeling bratty and petulant and so horny that I don’t consider it funny. I’m a deprived omega on the ledge, damn it. “Please, enlighten those of us who are still curious why our woman has been avoiding us for the latter half of the day.”

My eyes widen just before Alek tugs me to him, his large hand wrapping around my hips before dipping low enough tocup my ass. My perfume leaks a little more, and I groan before I can stop myself, right before I’m hauled right off my feet as Alek picks me up one handed, while the other grips my thigh and bands it around his waist.

Gasping, I latch my arms around his meaty shoulders before peering down at him with a parted mouth and rapidly blinking eyes, and the Viking winks at me before he declares, “Seems to me that our little omega is feeling needy. Have we been neglecting you, baby?”

The shock at being manhandled wears off quickly, and my hand sinks into the hair at the nape of Alek’s hair. I inhale his neroli and basil scent deeply, fully aware that it’s not helping my situation, but uncaring anyway. If I’m perfuming, it is what it is, because I’m not going to bother hiding how much I want them, even if they don’t think I’m ready to jump back in the saddle.

So, as I’m scratching at his scalp like I know he loves, I grumble, “Define neglect. Because is my heart neglected? Nope, she’s just as happy as a pig in mud. We really love it. My brain? Pretty on board with all the cuddles and kisses and pampering and sweet gestures, so she’s good. My pussy? Hm, let me think…”

Muffled laughter answers me, and I roll my eyes as my lips twitch, annoyed that I can’t seem to be mad at any one of my alphas when they’re laughing, because it’s like crack to an addict. It’s difficult maintaining the appropriate irritation when they’re being goofy and trying to dampen their giggles on my account.

“There we go,” Alek teases, his voice dropping an octave as his hand begins rubbing up and down my bare thigh, his arm snug against my back to keep me seated on his hip. “Now was that so hard, little lady?”

My eyebrows pinch in confusion, and I question, “Was what so hard? Me answering your question?”

The Viking shakes his head. “No, baby. Telling us whatyou want.”

I frown. “Are we having the same conversation? Because I’m pretty sure I’ve been on the cusp of begging for one of you to put me out of my misery, but I’m always coddled and put to sleep like I need more rest instead of getting what I want.”

A dark laugh follows before Lazarus patiently announces, “Sweetheart, we’ve been waiting on you to tell us you’re ready before we took you to bed and kept you there for an entire week straight. We didn’t want to assume, despite the way you’ve been perfuming lately. You went through something traumatic, and though you’re handling it beautifully, it wasn’t our place to push you for something you might not have been ready for.”

“All you had to do was say the words and we would have had you screaming and coming around our knots before you could catch your breath, Freckles,” Barnes adds, and my mouth falls open in shock.

This entire time, I’ve been waiting on them while they’ve been waiting on me. What the hell?

“Seems like we need to fix our communication already, starlight,” Mac teases with an adorable blush. “How about we start now? What do you want?”

“You name it and we’ll give it to you, pretty girl,” Ford agrees, dropping his hands as he watches me with a growing hunger I can sense through the bond. I’ll be damned if it doesn’t make me perfume that much more, and I feel the slick pool at the apex of my thighs.

I’m pretty sure Alek feels it, too, because the large man groans before dipping his face into the crook of my neck and rumbles, “I’ll give you literally anything, baby. So tell us, what do you want?”

The words slip from my mouth without any hesitation, my heart and soul embedded in the single sentence as I breathe,“I want all of you.”
