“You’re ours, Silver Gage,” he simply claims, dropping a sweet, lingering kiss to my bare shoulder. “And this pack is yours if you want it. If you want us.”
I pause for a moment, wondering if this is all real or whether or not I’m in some kind of sex-induced dream that feels far too real. I must hesitate for too long, because Pace’s purr grows thicker as he says, “I was serious when I said we’re all in, Silver. You’re who we want, our omega. We want you as a part of this pack, to belong to us.”
My insides melt while my heart beats rapidly, elation flooding my system from the top of my head to the tips of my toes. A euphoric kind of joy damn near suffocates me, and a grin starts growing on my face. Theirs. I love the sound of it so much, belonging to Aero, Rage, Haze, Pace, and…
Clearing my throat, I turn my head to look at Pace over my shoulder. He’s already watching me, that intense look on his face only marred by a small frown, and I quietly ask, “What about Munro?”
Pace relaxes immediately, a slow smile forming on his face as he asks, “Is that a real question? I saw the way he kissed you, Tink. there’s no doubt that you’re it for him. You just need to give him a chance to prove it.”
And that’s it, isn’t it? Can I give the guy who spent weeks on end making me feel like shit a chance? Put myself in a position to be hurt again?
“Trust me, Silver. There’s no other omega in the world, no other woman, who belongs to us more than you, and that includes Munro. If that asshole is willing to dress up in a monkey suit and twirl you on a dance floor when the guy has two left feet, believe me when I say he’s done fighting what he feels for you,” Pace informs, and my body warms and my mind latches on to his words. I want to believe them. I want to trust that they’re true.
I want to give Munro a chance.
“Okay, alpha,” I reply, nodding slowly as I scan his handsome face, watching as his honey eyes grow darker and his gaze narrows on me. “But if this shit goes sideways, I reserve the right to punch you in the nose.”
Pace groans low in his chest, and he cups my face gently, leaning his lips in to brush against mine. “Say that again.”
“I reserve the right—” I start, eyebrows pinching in amused confusion.
“Not that. The first part,” he demands roughly, nipping my lower lip in a way that has my already abused pussy clenching around him.
Understanding dawns on me suddenly, and my smile turns into a heated grin. “My alpha.”
With a sexy growl that has my body waking up as though it didn’t receive countless orgasms last night, Pace rolls us until I’m sprawled beneath him, his front plastered to my back as his knot lodges a little deeper inside me, setting off sparks of pleasure between my legs.
As soon as I’m trapped beneath him, my body writhing with an awakened libido that demands to be sated, Pace leans in to whisper gravelly into my ear, “That what you want, Tink? To be mine?”
I’m nodding rapidly before the last word leaves his mouth, and Pace sight with a low rumble of his purr, and the fucker grinds his knot inside me with a teasing roll of his hips. I cry out, already covered in slick and yesterday’s activities.
It’s made only worse when he grunts and promises, “The moment you're ready, you just say the word and I'll sink my teeth into you and make this whole thing as permanent as it can get. You're ours, Silver. Nothing will change that.”
I’m coming so suddenly that I lose my breath, pulsing around him with moans and mewls of relief, breathing in smoke and leather with every inhale. All the while, I’m thinking of how good it feels to belong to someone. How fucking wild it makes me, knowing he wants to bond with me and make this real and permanent and forever. And I’m thinking how fucking beautiful it is to finally belong to the pack I can’t see my life without anymore.
Chapter 25
Silver
After spending the whole morning with Pace locked away in my nest, he finally relinquishes his hold on me, and we both venture down the stairs by lunch time, Pace carrying the tray of stale toast and jelly to the kitchen while his free hand holds mine in a warm grip.
The rest of pack Larsen are already mulling around the kitchen, Haze and Rage sitting at the island with a cup of coffee each, while Aero sits on the counter near the window and Munro stands with his back to me, a knife in one hand and a slab of butter beside the stack of bread in front of him.
“There’s our girl,” Aero drawls, announcing our arrival, as if we were sneaking in and not walking at a normal speed.
I flash him a grin, my heart filling almost to bursting, accepting that this is my life now. This is what I want, what I’ve been given, and what I plan to fully embrace starting from right now.
“Hey, handsome,” I breathe, releasing Pace’s hand to meander over to the omega, myomega, and tilt my face up to his for a kiss.
Aero groans and mutters, “Fuck, I like this, baby. What the hell did Pace do to you?”
“Made me his,” I mutter, surging up for a kiss I’m still waiting for and growing all warm and fuzzy when Aero chuckles against my mouth. When we part, I lick my lips, tasting his frosted-plum scent on my lips. Aero groans again, and I snicker, pulling back enough to smile up at the omega.
Cupping my face in his warm hands, his thumbs brushing my skin with gentle strokes, he asks, “So, it’s official, yeah? Silver Gage, the bubblegum baddie, is officially team pack Larsen? You our girl, baby?”
I sigh with contentment, a thrill rushing through me hard enough for me to shiver, and I nod easily. “I’m yours.”
“Fuck yes,” Haze explodes, and I turn my head to find him out of his seat with his arms in the air, looking at his brother with a wide, happy smile that sends my heart soaring to the moon. It goes even further when my gaze falls to Rage and I find him smiling at me softly, chin in his hand as he says, “Wasn’t any other outcome that was going to happen, Sunshine.”
