“You know it’s bad manners to propose at someone else’s wedding, right?” Archer muses, cutting into my thoughts, and I turn to where he is sitting, his arms possessively wrapped around his new husband.
“It’s also bad manners to fuck in the middle of someone’s birthday party,” I toss back, reminding him of my festivities last year, but the chaotic little wanker only smirks.
“I got fucked so good that night,” he groans, rubbing his hands suggestively up and down Daemon’s chest. “Are we allowed to leave yet?” he asks him, and to my surprise, Daemon shakes his head.
“No, your mom put a lot of effort into today, and we are going to stay and enjoy every second,” he tells him firmly, and I smirk, sipping my whiskey and flicking my attention back to my girl.
“You could at least offer to suck my dick,” Archer grumbles, like the grumpy little fuck he is, but I’ve also never seen him this happy.
“I did, right before we walked down the aisle,” Daemon snaps back, making his new husband smirk.
“Yeah, but now don’t you want to claim me as your husband?” he asks him, raising his eyebrows suggestively, and Daemon flicks his stare to him, before letting it roam around the room slowly.
“Okay, you’ve got a one minute head start,” he replies, flicking his stare back to Archer. “You know what happens if I catch you, baby,” he adds, but Archer is already shoving away from him and striding from the room.
Daemon watches him for not even ten seconds before he is out of his chair and following him. God, I love those two little obsessed fuckers.
“I wonder if I can pull Maddie away so she can suck my dick, I’m hard as fuck watching her in that dress,” Nova drawls, tipping more champagne into his mouth as he watches her every move.
“For fuck’s sake, Darkmore,” Josh groans, slamming down his own drink and glaring at his soon to be brother-in-law. “How many times do I have to tell you to watch your fucking mouth,” he adds in warning, and I roll my eyes at them. They’re practically family but they still argue almost daily.
“You’re right, I should go and put my mouth to better use,” he replies smoothly, finishing off his drink and rising to his feet, fastening his suit jacket and striding over to his fiancée.
“He’s totally going to bang your sister,” I tell him with a smile, and he cuts me the same deathly glare.
“I hope Aubree says no,” he snaps back, and I choke out a laugh, still watching my girl.
“Let’s go and find out shall we,” I say, rising to my feet and striding to the dance floor. “Can I steal you for a dance, Trouble?” I ask, wrapping my arms around her from behind, and she smiles up at me with a nod.
“Anything for you, Prince Charming,” she replies tipsily, twirling into my hold, and I nod my head at Evie, Hallie, and Aurora.
“Excuse us, ladies.”
I wrap my arms around Aubree, swaying us side to side, while also slowly leading us in the direction of the terrace.
“The ceremony was so beautiful, wasn’t it,” she sighs, and I nod, spinning her out and pulling her back in.
“It was, ours will be better though,” I reply, making her laugh, the sound is my favorite thing in the world, after her moaning my name of course.
“Oh is that right?” she teases, rolling her eyes at me, but I remain quiet as I dance us out onto the terrace. “Alexander, where are we going?” she asks with another laugh.
“You’ll see,” I tell her, not stopping until we reach the perfect spot under the stars, far enough away from the reception that no one can see us.
Archer and Daemon got married in a beautiful mansion on the coast in the Hamptons, one I’ve already put an offer on the second we arrived because Aubree said it was the most beautiful house she has ever seen. Anything for my girl.
When I pull back she is still smiling at me, and I know what I am about to ask is going to be the easiest thing in the world.
“Aubree, a couple of years ago, you gave me this ring,” I start, undoing the top of my shirt, and pulling out her purity ring that still hangs on a chain around my neck.
“I didn’t give you that, you stole it,” she claps back with a smirk, and now it’s my turn to smile.
“Semantics,” I grumble with a wave of my hand, dropping the ring and reaching into my pocket for the velvet box. “I thought it was about time I returned the favor,” I breathe, pulling back and dropping to my knee before her.
“Oh my god,” she gasps, her eyes going wide with shock.
“Aubree Callows, I have loved you for two years, and in those two years you have shown me kindness, respect, support, and more love than I ever thought possible, and now I want to spend the rest of my life giving it back to you.”
Her eyes flick frantically between me and the ring as I open the box, another gasp slips past her lips when she spies the large pink diamond.
